Abstract

Methods, computer program products, and systems are described that include measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual and/or modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect.

Claims (49)

1. A method, comprising:

measuring, via one or more processors, at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual; and

modifying, via the one or more processors, at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect, comprising:

modifying, via the one or more processors, a bioactive agent dosage; and

transmitting, via the one or more processors, a modified bioactive agent dosage signal based on the modified bioactive agent dosage to an administration unit configured to administer the modified bioactive agent dosage to the individual.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual comprises:

measuring the at least one effect at least one of during or after the individual experiences the combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual comprises:

measuring the at least one effect with a self-assessment.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual comprises:

measuring the at least one effect with a computerized assessment.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual comprises:

measuring an expected behavior.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect comprises:

modifying access to at least a portion of the artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect comprises:

modifying a visual object in an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the modifying a visual object in an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent comprises:

modifying a color scheme of an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

9. The method of claim 7 , wherein the modifying a visual object in an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent comprises:

modifying at least a portion of text of an artificial sensory experience to alter at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect comprises:

altering a sound in an artificial sensory experience.

11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the altering a sound in an artificial sensory experience comprises:

altering at least a portion of music in the artificial sensory experience.

12. The method of claim 10 , wherein the altering a sound in an artificial sensory experience comprises:

altering at least a portion of ambient noise in the artificial sensory experience.

13. The method of claim 10 , wherein the altering a sound in an artificial sensory experience comprises:

altering at least a portion of voice in the artificial sensory experience.

14. The method of claim 1 , wherein the modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect comprises:

adding or deleting at least one of visual or audio content to the artificial sensory experience.

15. The method of claim 1 , wherein the modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect comprises:

modifying a sensate experience to alter the at least one effect of the bioactive agent.

16. The method of claim 1 , wherein the measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual and the modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect comprise:

measuring at least one effect of a pain medication and modifying a virtual world experience to alter at least one effect of the pain medication.

17. The method of claim 1 , wherein the measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual and the modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect comprise:

measuring at least one effect of an anti-depressant medication prescribed for the individual and modifying at least one cheerful attribute in a virtual world experience.

18. A system, comprising:

data processing hardware; and

memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware, the memory hardware storing instructions that when executed on the data processing hardware cause the data processing hardware to perform operations comprising:

measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual; and

modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect, comprising:

modifying a bioactive agent dosage; and

transmitting a modified bioactive agent dosage signal based on the modified bioactive agent dosage to an administration unit configured to administer the modified bioactive agent dosage to the individual.

19. A computer program product encoded on a non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions that when executed by a data processing apparatus cause the data processing apparatus to perform operations comprising:

measuring at least one effect of a combined bioactive agent and artificial sensory experience on an individual; and

modifying at least one of the bioactive agent or the artificial sensory experience at least partially based on the at least one effect, comprising:

modifying a bioactive agent dosage; and

transmitting a modified bioactive agent dosage signal based on the modified bioactive agent dosage to an administration unit configured to administer the modified bioactive agent dosage to the individual.
