Vehicle with wearable for identifying role of one or more users and adjustment of user settings
A system includes a vehicle, the vehicle comprising a control system and a wireless transceiver operatively connected to the control system. The control system is configured to wirelessly communicate with a wearable device worn by a user using the wireless transceiver and the control system is configured to receive input from one or more sensors of the wearable device.
1. A system comprising:
a vehicle, the vehicle comprising a vehicle network;
a set of earpieces in operative communication with the vehicle network, the set of earpieces including one or more sensors for receiving sensor data;
wherein the one or more sensors comprises an inertial sensor for sensing inertial sensor data and a biometric sensor for sensing biometric data
wherein the system is configured to determine a role of a user of the set of earpieces within the vehicle using the inertial sensor data;
wherein the system is configured to determine an identity of the user using the biometric data;
wherein the vehicle is configured to assign a plurality of access rights to the user of the set of earpieces based on both the role of the user and the identity of the user;
wherein the role is selected from a set comprising driver and passenger.
2. The system of claim 1 wherein the system is configured to determine a seat location of the user of the set of earpieces within the vehicle and wherein the role of the user is based on seat location.
3. The system of claim 1 wherein the vehicle is configured to automatically adjust one or more user settings based on identity of the user and the role of the user.
4. The system of claim 3 wherein the user settings include seat adjustment settings.
5. The system of claim 3 wherein the user settings include entertainment system settings.
6. The system of claim 3 wherein the user settings include rear view mirror settings.
7. The system of claim 3 wherein the user settings include temperature control settings.
8. The system of claim 3 wherein the user settings include navigation system settings.
9. The system of claim 8 wherein the navigation system settings include saved locations.
10. The system of claim 1 wherein the vehicle correlates inertial sensor data from the inertial sensor to an interaction with the vehicle to determine the role of the user.
11. The system of claim 10 wherein the interaction with the vehicle comprises opening a door of the vehicle.
12. The system of claim 11 wherein the interaction with the vehicle comprises grasping a steering wheel of the vehicle.
13. The system of claim 1 wherein the set of earpieces comprises a first wireless earpiece with a first transceiver and a second wireless earpiece with a second transceiver and wherein the system is further configured to determine the role of the user by locating the user within the vehicle by using a signal from the first transceiver and a signal from the second transceiver.
14. A method for identifying a role of one or more users within a vehicle, the method comprising:
identifying one or more users within the vehicle based on data from a set of wireless earpieces; and
identifying roles of one or more of the users within the vehicle using the wireless earpieces.
15. The method of claim 14 further comprising adjusting one or more vehicle setting based on identity and role of the one or more users.
16. The method of claim 15 wherein each of the set of wireless earpieces comprises an earpiece housing, a first microphone, a second microphone, a heart rate sensor, a transceiver, a speaker, an intelligent control system disposed within the earpiece housing and operatively connected to the first microphone, the second microphone, the speaker, the transceiver, and the heart rate sensor.
17. The method of claim 16 wherein the data from the set of wireless earpieces comprises biometric data from the set of wireless earpieces.
18. The method of claim 17 wherein the step of identifying roles of one or more of the users within the vehicle is based on location of the one or more of the users within the vehicle.
