Abstract

A dual mode antenna including: a wireless communication coil connection terminal; a wireless communication loop antenna electrically connected to the wireless communication connection terminal, and including a loop-shaped wireless communication coil; a wireless power transmission coil arranged inside the wireless communication loop antenna to be electrically disconnected from the wireless communication loop antenna, and configured to wirelessly transmit or receive power; a wireless power transmission coil connection terminal electrically connected to the wireless power transmission coil; and an extension pattern configured to electrically connect the wireless power transmission coil and the wireless power transmission coil connection terminal to each other, and arranged not to overlap with the wireless communication loop antenna.

Claims (23)

1. A dual mode antenna comprising:

a wireless communication coil connection terminal;

a wireless communication loop antenna electrically connected to the wireless communication coil connection terminal, and including a loop-shaped wireless communication coil;

a wireless power transmission coil arranged inside the wireless communication loop antenna to be electrically disconnected from the wireless communication loop antenna, and configured to wirelessly transmit or receive power;

a wireless power transmission coil connection terminal electrically connected to the wireless power transmission coil;

an extension pattern configured to electrically connect the wireless power transmission coil and the wireless power transmission coil connection terminal to each other, and arranged not to overlap with the wireless communication loop antenna; and

an insulative sheet on which the wireless communication loop antenna is formed,

wherein a distance between the wireless power transmission coil and the wireless communication loop antenna is greater than a distance between element wires forming either the wireless power transmission coil or the wireless communication loop antenna, and

wherein at least a part of the extension pattern is formed on a first surface of the insulative sheet which is different from a second surface of the insulative sheet on which the wireless communication loop antenna is formed.

2. The dual mode antenna of claim 1 , further comprising a stitching via,

wherein the stitching via comprises a connection pattern having one end electrically connected to the loop-shaped wireless communication coil through a via passing through the insulative sheet.

3. The dual mode antenna of claim 2 , wherein opposite ends of the wireless power transmission coil are electrically connected to the extension pattern.

4. The dual mode antenna of claim 1 , further comprising a stitching via,

wherein the stitching via comprises:

two vias configured to pass through the insulative sheet on which the wireless communication coil connection terminal and the loop-shaped wireless communication coil are formed; and

a connection pattern configured to electrically connect the two vias to each other.

5. The dual mode antenna of claim 4 , further comprising a ferrite sheet formed to be in contact with at least one surface of the insulative sheet,

wherein the ferrite sheet comprises:

a first ferrite sheet formed to be in contact with a position opposite to the loop-shaped wireless communication coil on the insulative sheet; and

a second ferrite sheet formed to be in contact with a positon opposite to the wireless power transmission coil on the insulative sheet.

6. The dual mode antenna of claim 5 , wherein a step adjustment slit is formed between the loop-shaped wireless communication coil and the wireless power transmission coil to adjust a step between the first ferrite sheet and the second ferrite sheet.

7. The dual mode antenna of claim 6 , wherein the wireless power transmission coil is real coil.

8. A user device comprising the dual mode antenna of claim 1 .
