Abstract

A patient treatment unit for analyzing and treating abnormality of human or animal tissues, includes a display; a pulse generator circuit that outputs a sequence of electrical pulses at a pulse frequency, the electrical pulses having a pulse width, the pulse generator controlling the pulse frequency and the pulse width of the electrical pulses; a pair of probes for contacting a body of a patient and electrically coupled to the pulse generator; and a voltage and current sensing circuit that senses a voltage or a current via the probes when contacting the body of the patient.

21 . An electromedicine system, comprising:

at least one skin-electrode configured for measurement of excited nociceptive neurons associated with a tissue or organ at points to be treated, including monitoring of electromagnetic parameters at the points and corrective means to provide a correction or treatment signal responsive to the measurements;

a second electrode, situated proximal to the tissue or organ to be treated, configured to transmit parameters to excite the nociceptive neurons;

wherein the skin-electrode and the second electrode transmit a tissue-to-organ communication pathway across a body of a patient to which the electrodes are applied;

wherein the skin-electrode or the second electrode includes a spiral conductive element through which electrical current flows to produce a magnetic field at a distal end thereof; and

a pulse generator circuit that outputs a sequence of electrical pulses to produce a pulsed magnetic field at the distal end.
