SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO MANAGE MEDIA CONTENT ITEMS
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are configured to provide a first element in an interface presentable to a user through which a plurality of ephemeral media content items are accessible by the user for a selected period of time. A second element in the interface through which a plurality of non-ephemeral media content items are accessible by the user is provided.
1 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
generating, by a computing system, a container reflecting collaboration by at least a content provider and a collaborator;
assigning, by the computing system, a first ephemeral media content item captured by the content provider to the container;
assigning, by the computing system, a second ephemeral media content item captured by the collaborator to the container; and
providing, by the computing system, the container in an element of an interface presentable to a user through which a plurality of ephemeral media content items are accessible by the user.
2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
expiring access by the user to the container; and
not presenting the container in the element upon expiration of access by the user to the container.
3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving a selection of the collaborator from the content provider.
4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving a selection of a second collaborator from the collaborator; and
assigning a third ephemeral media content item captured by the second collaborator to the container.
5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
removing the collaborator from collaboration relating to the container based on an input from the content provider.
6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
removing the collaborator from collaboration relating to the container based on an input from the collaborator.
7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the container is represented in the element by at least one of an identifier of the content provider, an identifier of the collaborator, and a thumbnail of an ephemeral media content item assigned to the container.
8 . A system comprising:
at least one processor; and
a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform:
generating a container reflecting collaboration by at least a content provider and a collaborator;
assigning a first ephemeral media content item captured by the content provider to the container;
assigning a second ephemeral media content item captured by the collaborator to the container; and
providing the container in an element of an interface presentable to a user through which a plurality of ephemeral media content items are accessible by the user.
9 . The system of claim 8 , further comprising:
expiring access by the user to the container; and
not presenting the container in the element upon expiration of access by the user to the container.
10 . The system of claim 8 , further comprising:
receiving a selection of the collaborator from the content provider.
11 . The system of claim 8 , further comprising:
receiving a selection of a second collaborator from the collaborator; and
assigning a third ephemeral media content item captured by the second collaborator to the container.
12 . The system of claim 8 , further comprising:
removing the collaborator from collaboration relating to the container based on an input from the content provider.
13 . The system of claim 8 , further comprising:
removing the collaborator from collaboration relating to the container based on an input from the collaborator.
14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the container is represented in the element by at least one of an identifier of the content provider, an identifier of the collaborator, and a thumbnail of an ephemeral media content item assigned to the container.
15 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform a method comprising:
generating a container reflecting collaboration by at least a content provider and a collaborator;
assigning a first ephemeral media content item captured by the content provider to the container;
assigning a second ephemeral media content item captured by the collaborator to the container; and
providing the container in an element of an interface presentable to a user through which a plurality of ephemeral media content items are accessible by the user.
16 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , further comprising:
expiring access by the user to the container; and
not presenting the container in the element upon expiration of access by the user to the container.
17 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , further comprising:
receiving a selection of the collaborator from the content provider.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , further comprising:
receiving a selection of a second collaborator from the collaborator; and
assigning a third ephemeral media content item captured by the second collaborator to the container.
19 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , further comprising:
removing the collaborator from collaboration relating to the container based on an input from the content provider.
20 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , further comprising:
removing the collaborator from collaboration relating to the container based on an input from the collaborator.
