Abstract

An apparatus, device, methods, computer program product, and system are described that make a determination that a wireless device is in proximity to at least one secondary wireless device, and determine an aggregate user interface on the wireless device based on the determination.

Claims (39)

1. A method comprising:

making a determination that a wireless device is in proximity to at least one secondary wireless device;

determining an aggregate user interface on the wireless device based on the determination,

wherein making a determination that a wireless device is in proximity to at least one secondary wireless device comprises identifying a location of the at least one secondary wireless device;

wherein determining an aggregate user interface on the wireless device based on the determination comprises updating the aggregate user interface by sorting a list of secondary wireless devices containing the at least one secondary wireless device by location; and

presenting the aggregate user interface identifying the at least one secondary wireless device;

receiving a first input selecting the identified secondary wireless device; and

responsive to the first input, presenting, on the wireless device, a second user interface including one or more selectable menu options each associated with an operation performable by the identified secondary wireless device.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein determining an aggregate user interface on the wireless device based on the determination comprises:

providing an available interaction with one or more operations related to other secondary wireless devices based on the determination.

3. A system comprising:

a computing device comprising at least one memory device coupled to at least one processing device; and

instructions stored on the at least one memory device that when executed by the at least one processing device cause the computing device to (a) make a determination that a wireless device is in proximity to at least one secondary wireless device, and (b) determine an aggregate user interface on the wireless device based on the determination, and (c) present the aggregate user interface identifying the at least one secondary wireless device,

wherein making a determination that a wireless device is in proximity to at least one secondary wireless device comprises identifying a location of the at least one secondary wireless device,

wherein determining an aggregate user interface on the wireless device based on the determination comprises updating the aggregate user interface by sorting a list of secondary wireless devices containing the at least one secondary wireless device by location;

wherein the aggregate user interface is configured to:

receive a first input selecting the identified secondary wireless device; and

responsive to the first input, present, on the wireless device, a second user interface including one or more selectable menu options each associated with an operation performable by the identified secondary wireless device.

4. A device comprising:

(a) a wireless device configured to determine when it is in proximity to at least one secondary wireless device, and

(b) an aggregate user interface configured to be determined based on the determination and present the aggregate user interface identifying the at least one secondary wireless device on the wireless device,

wherein the wireless device is further configured to determine a location of the at least one secondary wireless device;

wherein the aggregate user interface configured to be determined on the wireless device is further configured to be updated by sorting a list of secondary wireless devices containing the at least one secondary wireless device by location and to:

receive a first input selecting the identified secondary wireless device; and

responsive to the first input, present, on the wireless device, a second user interface including one or more selectable menu options each associated with an operation performable by the identified secondary wireless device.

The method of claim 2 , wherein providing an available interaction with the one or more operations related to other secondary wireless devices based on the determination further comprises providing a menu of operations on the wireless device including at least one operation for the other secondary wireless devices based on the determination.

The method of claim 2 , wherein providing an available interaction with the one or more operations related to other secondary wireless devices based on the determination comprises receiving information at the wireless device indicating at least one function of one or more of the other secondary wireless devices.

The system of claim 3 , wherein the instructions to cause the computing device to determine an aggregate user interface on the wireless device based on the determination further comprise instructions to cause the computing device to provide an available interaction with one or more operations related to other secondary wireless devices based on the determination.

The system of claim 7 , wherein the instructions to cause the computing device to provide an available interaction with the one or more operations related to other secondary wireless device based on the determination further comprises instructions to cause the computing device to provide a menu of operations on the wireless device including at least one operation for one or more of the other secondary wireless devices based on the determination.

The system of claim 7 , wherein the instructions to cause the computing device to provide an available interaction with the one or more operations related to other secondary wireless devices based on the determination further comprises instructions to cause the computing device to receive information at the wireless device indicating at least one function of one or more of the other secondary wireless devices.

10. The device of claim 4 , wherein the aggregate user interface configured to be determined on the wireless device is further configured to be provided an available interaction with one or more operations related to other secondary wireless devices based on the determination.

The device of claim 10 , wherein the available interaction with one or more operations configured to be provided is further configured to be provided with a menu of operations on the wireless device including at least one operation for one or more of the other secondary wireless devices based on the determination.

12. The device of claim 10 , wherein the available interaction with one or more operations configured to be provided is further configured to receive information at the wireless device indicating at least one function of one or more of the other secondary wireless devices.

13. The method of claim 1 , further comprises receiving a second input selecting at least one of the one or more selectable menu options associated with an operation performable by the identified second wireless device.

14. The method of claim 13 , further comprises, responsive to the second input, controlling the identified second wireless device to perform the at least one operation.

15. The system of claim 13 , wherein the user interface element is further configured to receive a second input selecting at least one of the one or more selectable menu options associated with an operation performable by the identified second wireless device.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the user interface element is further configured to, responsive to the second input, control the identified second wireless device to perform the at least one operation.

17. The system of claim 4 , wherein the user interface element is further configured to receive a second input selecting at least one of the one or more selectable menu options associated with an operation performable by the identified second wireless device.

18. The system of claim 17 , wherein the user interface element is further configured to, responsive to the second input, control the identified second wireless device to perform the at least one operation.
