Abstract

An information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit that receives, during or after reproduction of a video, a predetermined operation with respect to the video, an associating unit that associates the received operation with a reproduction location where the received operation has been generated in the video, and a setting unit that sets in response to the received operation an importance degree of the reproduction location associated with the received operation.

Claims (27)

1. An information processing apparatus comprising:

a receiving unit that receives, during or after reproduction of a video, a predetermined operation with respect to the video;

an associating unit that associates the received operation with a reproduction location where the received operation has been generated in the video; and

a setting unit that sets in response to the received operation an importance degree of the reproduction location associated with the received operation.

2. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the setting unit updates a magnitude of the importance degree in response to contents of the received operation.

3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the receiving unit receives operations of a plurality of different viewers with respect to the video,

wherein the associating unit associates on a per viewer basis the received operation with the reproduction location where the received operation has been generated in the video, and

wherein the setting unit sets in response to the received operation on a per viewer basis the importance degree at the reproduction location associated with the received operation, and performs importance degree updating by accumulating the importance degree set on each viewer.

4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the receiving unit receives operations of a plurality of different viewers with respect to the video,

wherein the associating unit associates on a per viewer basis the received operation with the reproduction location where the received operation has been generated in the video, and

wherein the setting unit sets in response to the received operation on a per viewer basis the importance degree at the reproduction location associated with the received operation, and performs importance degree updating by accumulating the importance degree set on each viewer.

5. The information processing apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient of the importance degree on each viewer who has performed the received operation.

6. The information processing apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient of the importance degree on each viewer who has performed the received operation.

7. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient for each viewing period of the video that serves as a target of the received operation.

8. The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient for each viewing period of the video that serves as a target of the received operation.

9. The information processing apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient for each viewing period of the video that serves as a target of the received operation.

10. The information processing apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient for each viewing period of the video that serves as a target of the received operation.

11. The information processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient for each viewing period of the video that serves as a target of the received operation.

12. The information processing apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the setting unit sets a weighting coefficient for each viewing period of the video that serves as a target of the received operation.

13. An information processing method comprising:

during or after reproduction of a video, receiving a predetermined operation with respect to the video;

associating the received operation with a reproduction location where the received operation has been generated in the video; and

in response to the received operation, setting an importance degree of the reproduction location associated with the received operation.

14. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process for processing information, the process comprising:

during or after reproduction of a video, receiving a predetermined operation with respect to the video;

associating the received operation with a reproduction location where the received operation has been generated in the video; and

in response to the received operation, setting an importance degree of the reproduction location associated with the received operation.
