PROCESS RE-DESIGN TARGETING ENGINE
A heuristic business process impact assessment engine includes capabilities to collect an unstructured data set and a current business process context. Providing a heuristic algorithm and executing the heuristic algorithm within the engine with the data set may allow determination of predicted impacts on portions of a business process and suggest actions to improve business process efficiencies. Such heuristic algorithms may learn from past data transactions and appropriate correlations with events and available data.
1 . A computer-implemented method, executed with a computer processor, comprising:
retrieving, with the computer processor and from a first memory, an un-structured transaction set including time information associated with at least a first portion of a business process and a plurality of customer conversations defined as natural language inputs associated with implementation of the business process, wherein the business process comprises a plurality of portions including the first portion;
accessing, with the computer processor, a heuristic algorithm stored in a second memory;
generating a first time score for the first portion of the business process;
generating, based on the first time score exceeding a threshold score, a suggested modification to the first portion of the business process, by executing the heuristic algorithm with the computer processor based on using the first time score and the un-structured transaction set;
determining a second time score and a quantified impact of the first portion of the business process based on implementing the suggested modification, wherein the quantified impact comprises at least one of a time efficiency difference or a cost efficiency difference of the first portion of the business process; and
training, with the computer processor, the heuristic algorithm in the second memory using machine learning, wherein the training is based at least partly on the second time score and the quantified impact of the suggested modification on the second time score.
2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the time information comprises a cost related to time.
3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the threshold score is based at least in part on a time consumed.
4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the threshold score is based at least in part on a cost associated with the first portion of the business process.
5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the first memory comprises an external transaction server.
6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the second memory comprises an external heuristic server.

8 . A natural language-based system configured to target a portion of a business process for continuous modification and improvement of heuristic algorithms, the system comprising:
a computer processor;
a first memory communicatively coupled to the computer processor; and
a second memory communicatively coupled to the computer processor,
wherein the computer processor is configured to:
retrieve an un-structured transaction set including time information associated with at least a first portion of the business process and a plurality of customer conversations defined as natural language inputs associated with implementation of the business process, wherein the business process includes a plurality of portions including the first portion;
access a heuristic algorithm stored in the second memory;
generate a first time score for the first portion of the business process;
generate, based on the first time score exceeding a threshold score, a suggested modification to the first portion of the business process, by executing the heuristic algorithm using the first time score and the un-structured transaction set;
determine a second time score and a quantified impact of the first portion of the business process based on implementing the suggested modification, wherein the quantified impact comprises at least one of a time efficiency difference or a cost efficiency difference of the first portion of the business process; and
update the heuristic algorithm in the second memory using the second time score and the quantified impact.
9 . The natural language-based system of claim 8 , wherein the time information comprises a cost related to time.
10 . The natural language-based system of claim 8 , wherein the threshold score is based at least in part on a time consumed.
11 . The natural language-based system of claim 8 , wherein the threshold score is based at least in part on a cost associated with the first portion of the business process.
12 . The natural language-based system of claim 8 , wherein the first memory comprises an external transaction server.
13 . The natural language-based system of claim 8 , wherein the second memory comprises an external heuristic server.
14 . A non-transitory computer readable medium, comprising computer readable instructions that, when executed by a computer processor cause the computer processor to:
retrieve, from a first memory, an un-structured transaction set including time information associated with at least a first portion of a business process and a plurality of customer conversations defined as natural language inputs associated with implementation of the business process, wherein the business process comprises a plurality of portions including the first portion;
access a heuristic algorithm stored in a second memory;
generate a first time score for the first portion of the business process;
generate, based on the first time score exceeding a threshold score, a suggested modification to the first portion of the business process, by executing the heuristic algorithm using the first time score and the un-structured transaction set;
determine a second time score and a quantified impact of the first portion of the business process based on implementing the suggested modification, wherein the quantified impact comprises at least one of a time efficiency difference or a cost efficiency difference of the first portion of the business process; and
update the heuristic algorithm in the second memory using the second time score and the quantified impact.
15 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the time information comprises a cost related to time.
16 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the threshold score is based at least in part on a time consumed.
17 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the threshold score is based at least in part on a cost associated with the first portion of the business process.
18 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the first memory comprises an external transaction server.
19 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the second memory comprises an external heuristic server.

21 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving a second suggested modification to the first portion of the business process;
determining the second time score and the quantified impact of the first portion of the business process based on implementing the second suggested modification; and
updating the heuristic algorithm in the second memory using the second time score and the quantified impact.
22 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the computer processor, further cause the computer processor to:
receive a second suggested modification to the first portion of the business process;
determine the second time score and the quantified impact of the first portion of the business process based on implementing the second suggested modification; and
update the heuristic algorithm in the second memory using the second time score and the quantified impact.
