Abstract

According to an aspect, a substrate for a display apparatus includes: a first substrate; a translucent coloring layer that overlaps with the first substrate; a first translucent resin layer that overlaps with the translucent coloring layer on an opposite side to the first substrate side; a light shielding layer that overlaps with the first translucent resin layer on an opposite side to the first substrate side; and a second translucent resin layer that overlaps with the light shielding layer on an opposite side to the first substrate side. The first translucent resin layer is in contact with the first substrate in at least a part of a frame region arranged around a display region in which light is transmitted through the translucent coloring layer.

Claims (30)

1. A substrate for a display apparatus that has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side, the substrate comprising:

a first substrate having a first substrate first surface side facing the first side;

a translucent coloring layer having a translucent coloring layer first surface side facing the first side, the translucent coloring layer being disposed on the first substrate first surface side of the first substrate;

a first translucent resin layer having a first translucent resin layer first surface side facing the first side, the first translucent resin layer being disposed on the translucent coloring layer first surface side of the translucent coloring layer;

a light shielding layer having a light shielding layer first surface side facing the first side, the light shielding layer being a matrix of light shielding parts and disposed on the first translucent resin layer first surface side of the first translucent resin layer;

a second translucent resin layer having a second translucent resin layer first surface side being disposed on the light shielding layer first surface side of the light shielding layer; and

an orientation film disposed on the second translucent resin layer first surface side of the second translucent resin layer,

wherein

the first translucent resin layer is in contact with the first substrate in at least a part of a frame region arranged around a display region in which light is transmitted through the translucent coloring layer, and

the orientation film is partially arranged between the light shielding parts adjacent to each other on a cross section vertical to the first substrate.

2. The substrate for a display apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein an area of the first translucent resin layer is identical to an area of the first substrate when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the first substrate.

3. The substrate for a display apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a spacer that is disposed on the light shielding layer first surface side of the light shielding layer.

4. The substrate for a display apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the spacer is made of a material identical to that of the second translucent resin layer, and is integrated with the second translucent resin layer.

5. The substrate for a display apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a spacer disposed on the light shielding layer first surface side of the light shielding layer, wherein

the spacer is made of a material identical to that of the second translucent resin layer, and is integrated with the second translucent resin layer.

6. The substrate for a display apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

the light shielding layer is a single layer when viewed in a first direction perpendicular to the first substrate and overlaps with the first substrate in the first direction.

7. A display apparatus comprising:

a first substrate having a first substrate first surface side;

a second substrate that faces the first substrate first surface side of the first substrate;

a liquid crystal layer arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate;

a translucent coloring layer that has a translucent coloring layer first surface side facing the second substrate and that is disposed on the first substrate first surface side of the first substrate;

a first translucent resin layer that has a first translucent resin layer first surface side facing the second substrate and that is disposed on the translucent coloring layer first surface side of the translucent coloring layer;

a light shielding layer that has a light shielding layer first surface side facing the second substrate and that is a matrix of light shielding parts, the light shielding layer being disposed on the first translucent resin layer first surface side of the first translucent resin layer;

a second translucent resin layer that has a second translucent resin layer first surface side and that is disposed on the light shielding layer first surface side of the light shielding layer; and

an orientation film disposed on the second translucent resin layer first surface side of the second translucent resin layer,

wherein the first translucent resin layer is in contact with the first substrate in at least a part of a frame region arranged around a display region in which light is transmitted through the translucent coloring layer, and

the orientation film is partially arranged between the light shielding parts adjacent to each other on a cross section vertical to the first substrate.
