Abstract

An agricultural harvester includes a chassis, a cleaning system carried by the chassis, a crop material elevator supplied with crop material that has passed through the cleaning system and has a first inlet and a second inlet, and an auger system supplying the crop material from the cleaning system to the crop material elevator. The auger system includes a first auger defining an auger axis that extends in a conveying direction toward the crop material elevator and is configured to supply crop material to the first inlet, a second auger defining a second auger axis that extends in the conveying direction, and a crop material conveyor configured to supply crop material from the second auger to the second inlet generally transverse to the second auger axis.

Claims (20)

1. An agricultural harvester, comprising:

a chassis;

a cleaning system carried by said chassis;

a crop material elevator supplied with crop material that has passed through said cleaning system, said crop material elevator having a first inlet and a second inlet; and

an auger system supplying the crop material from said cleaning system to said crop material elevator, said auger system including:

a first auger defining a first auger axis extending in a conveying direction toward said crop material elevator and configured to supply crop material to said first inlet;

a second auger defining a second auger axis extending in said conveying direction; and

a crop material conveyor configured to supply crop material from said second auger to said second inlet generally transverse to said second auger axis, wherein said auger system includes a second crop material conveyor configured to supply crop material from said first auger to said first inlet, and wherein said second crop material conveyor is a cross auger that extends generally transverse to said first auger axis.

2. The agricultural harvester according to claim 1 , wherein said first inlet is located on a first side of said crop material elevator and said second inlet is located on a second side opposite of said first side of said crop material elevator.

3. An agricultural harvester, comprising:

a chassis;

a cleaning system carried by said chassis;

a crop material elevator supplied with crop material that has passed through said cleaning system, said crop material elevator having a first inlet and a second inlet; and

an auger system supplying the crop material from said cleaning system to said crop material elevator, said auger system including:

a first auger defining a first auger axis extending in a conveying direction toward said crop material elevator and configured to supply crop material to said first inlet;

a second auger defining a second auger axis extending in said conveying direction; and

a crop material conveyor configured to supply crop material from said second auger to said second inlet generally transverse to said second auger axis,

wherein said crop material elevator includes a first surface defining a plane that extends generally transverse to said first auger axis and a second surface defining a plane extends parallel to said first auger axis, said first inlet being located on said first surface and said second inlet being located on said second surface.

4. The agricultural harvester according to claim 3 , wherein said first auger axis is generally parallel to said second auger axis.

5. The agricultural harvester according to claim 3 , wherein at least one of said first auger and said second auger is fixedly attached to said agricultural harvester.
