Abstract

An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a camera coupled to a processor; and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.

Claims (23)

1. A device, comprising:

a body having a blockchain address, a processor to identify the body in a blockchain with the blockchain address and a wireless transceiver;

a sensor coupled to the body and the wireless transceiver to store tamperproof sensor events on the blockchain; and

an accelerometer disposed within the body to detect acceleration of the body, wherein the accelerometer stores acceleration data on the blockchain.

2. The device of claim 1 , comprising a digital key or smart key to facilitate access to the body.

3. The device of claim 1 , wherein the registration is stored on a decentralized ledger along with contractual details of a person who has ownership in the body.

4. The device of claim 3 , wherein the ledger stores and exchanges digital keys.

5. The device of claim 3 , wherein the processor uses the ledger to record or manage property right.

6. The device of claim 3 , wherein the processor uses the ledger to manage property rental using the blockchain.

7. The device of claim 1 , wherein the processor verifies a contract using the blockchain.

8. The device of claim 7 , wherein the processor duplicates the contract upon authentication.

9. The device of claim 1 , wherein the body comprises a vehicle body.

10. The device of claim 9 , wherein the sensor captures driver behavior.

11. The device of claim 9 , wherein the sensor monitors behavioral data over a period of time.

12. The device of claim 9 , wherein the sensor gathers vehicle data during operation and during parking or at rest.

13. The device of claim 9 , wherein driver and vehicle behavior is are used to determining an expense or a charge.

14. The device of claim 9 , wherein driver and vehicle behavior is are provided as feedback to reduce an expense or a charge.

15. The device of claim 1 , wherein the processor verifies a loan contract for the body using the blockchain.

16. The device of claim 15 , wherein the loan contract is issued by a lender, a rotating credit association or a social network lending group using the blockchain.

17. The device of claim 1 , wherein the processor verifies a purchase contract for the body using the blockchain.

18. The device of claim 17 , wherein the purchase contract is issued by a lender, a rotating credit association or a social network lending group using the blockchain.

19. The device of claim 1 , wherein the body comprises a lock or an access control device for a real property and wherein the processor verifies a purchase contract, a mortgage contract or a rental contract for the real property using the blockchain.

20. The device of claim 19 , wherein the contract is issued by a lender, a rotating credit association or a social network lending group using the blockchain.
