Carbondisulfide derived zwitterions
View Patent ↗Amines and amine derivatives that improve the buffering range, and/or reduce the chelation and other negative interactions of the buffer and the system to be buffered. The reaction of amines or polyamines with various molecules to form polyamines with differing pKa's will extend the buffering range, derivatives that result in polyamines that have the same pKa yields a greater buffering capacity. Derivatives that result in zwitterionic buffers improve yield by allowing a greater range of stability.
1. The mining collector of the following structure and its amine and metal salts:
where A is chosen from, —CS2H, —CH2CH2OH, —CH2CH2OCS2H, —CH2CH2OCH2CH2O-G, D is chosen from —H or —CS2H, —CH2CH2O-G, where G is chosen from —H or —CS2H, E is chosen from —CS2H, —CH2CH2O-G′, where G′ is chosen from —H or —CS2H; and wherein D and G′ may not all be H.
2. The mining collector of claim 1 and its amine and metal salts, where A=—CH2CH2OH, D=—H and E=—CS2H.
3. The mining collector of claim 1 and its amine and metal salts, where A=—CH2CH2OCS2, D=E=—CS2H.
