Abstract

Systems and methods to process and/or present information relating to voice messages for a user that are received from other persons. In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving first data associated with prior communications for the user on a mobile device; receiving a voice message for the user; transcribing the voice message using the first data to provide a transcribed message; and sending the transcribed message to the mobile device for display to the user. In one embodiment, links associated with person profiles are also provided for the user.

Claims (33)

1. A method, comprising:

receiving, by a computing apparatus, first data associated with prior communications, the first data comprising a plurality of person profiles including a first person profile associated with a first prior communication, and a second person profile associated with a second prior communication;

receiving, by the computing apparatus, second data;

processing, by the computing apparatus, the second data using the first data to provide a message; and

sending, by the computing apparatus, the message to a computing device, and providing links for a user of the computing device, the links associated with the first person profile and the second person profile.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the message comprises text that references the first prior communication.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the first person profile is for a first person, and the text identifies the first prior communication as being previously sent by the first person to a user of the computing device.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein processing the second data comprises transcribing the second data to provide the message.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first person profile is for a first person that creates the second data when leaving a voice message for a user of the computing device.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the second person profile is for a second person included in the second prior communication.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the second person is included in an address field as a recipient of the second prior communication.

8. The method of claim 6 , wherein the second person is referenced in a body of the second prior communication.

9. The method of claim 6 , wherein the message comprises text, the text including a first name of the first person and a second name of the second person, and wherein the first name is extracted from the first person profile, and the second name is extracted from the second person profile.

10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising causing display of the message to a user of the computing device.

11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first person profile is for a first person, and the first data comprises a predefined number of prior communications sent by the first person to a user of the computing device.

12. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second data includes a reference to a communication, the method further comprising selecting at least one prior communication associated with the referenced communication.

13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the selecting comprises correlation of at least one word in the referenced communication to at least one word in the at least one prior communication.

14. The method of claim 12 , wherein the selecting is further based on a relevancy of a sender of a prior communication, the relevancy determined by at least one of the plurality of person profiles.

15. A system, comprising:

at least one processor; and

memory storing instructions configured to instruct the at least one processor to:

receive first data associated with prior communications, the first data comprising a plurality of person profiles including a first person profile associated with a first prior communication, and a second person profile associated with a second prior communication;

receive second data;

process the second data using the first data to provide a message; and

send the message to a computing device, and provide links for a user of the computing device, the links associated with the first person profile and the second person profile.

16. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer-readable instructions, which when executed, cause a first computing device to:

receive first data associated with prior communications, the first data comprising a plurality of person profiles including a first person profile associated with a first prior communication, and a second person profile associated with a second prior communication;

receive second data;

process the second data using the first data to provide a message; and

send the message to a second computing device, and provide links for a user of the second computing device, the links associated with the first person profile and the second person profile.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the first person profile is for a first person that creates the second data when leaving a voice message for a user of the second computing device.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 17 , wherein the second person profile is for a second person included in the second prior communication.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the first data is further associated with a prior manner of user operation of the second computing device.
