METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE-BASED IMAGE-CAPTURING
A system for vehicle-based image-capturing is disclosed. The system may comprise an interface configured to receive an input, and a first sensor of a vehicle configured to capture an image based on the user input.
1 . A system for vehicle-based image-capturing, the system comprising:
an interface configured to receive an input; and
a first sensor, of a vehicle, configured to capture an image based on the input.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first sensor is integrated with the vehicle and configured to capture an image of one or more objects outside the vehicle.
3 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a processing unit configured to determine a status of the vehicle based on the input; and
a second sensor configured to detect an image target based on the input and the determined status, wherein the first sensor is configured to capture an image of the detected image target.
4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein:
the first sensor is a camera; and
the second sensor is a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) sensor.
5 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the processing unit is further configured to adjust one or more configurations of the first sensor based on the detected image target.
6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein:
the first sensor is configured to capture a video based on the input; and
the processing unit is further configured to:
select one or more frames of the captured video as selected images, and
present the selected images to the user.
7 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the processing unit is further configured to adjust the first sensor to focus on the detected image target.
8 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the processing unit is further configured to set the first sensor to an ON, OFF, or standby state.
9 . The system of claim 5 , further comprising a global positioning system (GPS) unit configured to detect a position of the vehicle, wherein the first sensor is configured to capture the image based on the input and the detected position.
10 . A vehicle comprising a system for vehicle-based image-capturing, the system comprising:
an interface configured to receive an input; and
a first sensor configured to capture an image based on the input.
11 . The vehicle of claim 10 , wherein the first sensor is integrated with the vehicle and configured to capture an image of one or more objects outside the vehicle.
12 . The vehicle of claim 10 , wherein:
the system further comprises:
a processing unit configured to determine a status of the vehicle based on the input, and
a second sensor configured to detect an image target based on the input and the determined status; and
the first sensor is configured to capture an image of the detected image target.
13 . The vehicle of claim 12 , wherein:
the first sensor is a camera; and
the second sensor is a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) sensor.
14 . The vehicle of claim 12 , wherein the processing unit is further configured to adjust one or more configurations of the first sensor based on the detected image target.
15 . The vehicle of claim 14 , wherein:
the first sensor is configured to capture a video based on the input; and
the processing unit is further configured to:
select one or more frames of the captured video as selected images, and
present the selected images to the user.
16 . The vehicle of claim 14 , wherein the processing unit is further configured to adjust the first sensor to focus on the detected image target.
17 . The vehicle of claim 14 , wherein the processing unit is further configured to set the first sensor to an ON, OFF, or standby state.
18 . The vehicle of claim 14 , wherein:
the system further comprises a GPS unit configured to detect a position of the vehicle; and
the first sensor is configured to capture the image based on the input and the detected position.
19 . A method for vehicle-based image-capturing, the method comprising:
receiving, by an interface, an input; and
capturing, by a first sensor of a vehicle, an image based on the input.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein capturing the image based on the input comprises:
determining, by a processing unit, a status of the vehicle based on the input;
detecting, by a second sensor of the vehicle, an image target based on the input and the determined status; and
capturing, by the first sensor of the vehicle, an image of the detected image target.
