Abstract

A polymer gel electrolyte containing at least a lithium salt and an aprotic solvent, in which an amorphous polymer layer is formed on the surface of an electrode active material.

Claims (12)

1. A lithium ion battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and a polymer gel electrolyte comprising at least a lithium salt and an aprotic solvent, wherein an amorphous polymer layer is formed on a surface of an electrode active material of at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode.

2. The lithium ion battery according to claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the amorphous polymer layer is in a range of 3 to 30 nm.

3. The lithium ion battery according to claim 1 , wherein the amorphous polymer layer is formed derived from the polymer gel electrolyte.

4. The lithium ion battery according to claim 1 , wherein the polymer gel electrolyte is formed from a polymer having a cationic polymerizable functional group.

5. The lithium ion battery according to claim 1 , further comprising a film component derived from an electrode surface coating film-forming agent or a film component derived from an electrolyte solvent between the electrode active material surface and the amorphous polymer layer.

6. The lithium ion battery according to claim 5 , wherein the electrode coating film forming agent is at least one selected from a cyclic unsaturated sultone compound, a carbonate, a cyclic disulfonate and a linear disulfonate.

7. The lithium ion battery according to claim 1 , wherein the amorphous polymer layer is derived from a pre-crosslinked polymer for forming the polymer gel electrolyte.

8. The lithium ion battery according to claim 1 , wherein the polymer gel electrolyte comprises a crosslinked polymer formed of a polymer having a polymerizable functional group,

the amorphous polymer layer is derived from a pre-crosslinked polymer for forming the polymer gel electrolyte, and

the pre-crosslinked polymer is the same polymer as the polymer having a polymerizable functional group.

9. The lithium ion battery according to claim 7 , wherein the pre-crosslinked polymer is a (meth)acrylate polymer.

10. The lithium ion battery according to claim 8 , wherein the pre-crosslinked polymer is a (meth)acrylate polymer.
