Abstract

At least one exemplary embodiment is directed to an earphone having a first and second tab that are configured to be engaged by fingers, where when fingers squeeze the tabs together pressure on a reservoir is reduced so that a medium flows from an expandable tip reducing the size of the expandable tip.

Claims (6)

1 . An earphone comprising:

a first member attached to a second member, where the first member is configured to be moved by a first finger;

a resilient member attached to the first member, where the resilient member provides a restoring force when the first member is moved relative to a stationary reference position on the earphone;

a reservoir;

an expandable tip that is configured to expand when the member is pressed so that the distance between the reference position and the first member is reduced; and

a stent configured to carry a medium stored in the reservoir to the tip when the distance is reduced.
