Product management display system
A product management display system for merchandising product on a shelf includes a divider secured to a support structure, a pusher to move product, a barrier, and a low product indicator device. The low product indicator device may be visible when an amount of product positioned on the top surface of the divider floor or on the shelf is low.
1. A merchandise display system comprising:
a pusher mechanism including a biasing device and configured to slide along a floor of the merchandise display system to move a product positioned on the floor toward a forward end of the merchandise display system;
a barrier configured to be positioned proximate the forward end of the merchandise display system and above the floor such that the product positioned on the floor contacts the barrier when the product moves toward the forward end of the merchandise display system;
a low product indicator device comprising a front wall fixed vertically with respect to the floor, and a bottom wall;
wherein the biasing device comprises a coiled spring; and
wherein the coiled spring passes over the bottom wall of the low product indicator device and below the front wall of the low product indicator device.
2. The merchandise display system of claim 1 , wherein the low product indicator device further comprises a protruding portion, and wherein the protruding portion is configured to extend forward of the barrier when an amount of product positioned on the floor is low.
3. The merchandise display system of claim 1 , wherein the barrier is transparent.
4. The merchandise display system of claim 3 , wherein the front wall of the low product indicator device is visible through the barrier when an amount of product positioned on the floor is low.

The merchandise display system of claim 1 , wherein the low product indicator device is configured to move forward with the pusher mechanism as the product nearest the forward end is removed, and wherein forward movement of the low product indicator device stops when a predetermined amount of product is removed from the merchandise display system.
6. The merchandise display system of claim 5 , wherein the predetermined amount of product is adjustable.
7. The merchandise display system of claim 6 , wherein the bottom wall of the low product indicator device is configured to slide under the pusher mechanism when all product is removed from the merchandise display system.
8. The merchandise display system of claim 7 , wherein the low product indicator device is removably engaged with the merchandise display system.
9. A merchandise display system comprising:
a pusher mechanism comprising a biasing device and configured to slide along a floor to move a product toward a forward end of the merchandise display system;
a barrier configured to be positioned proximate a forward end of the merchandise display system such that the product positioned on the floor contacts the barrier when the product moves toward the forward end of the merchandise display system;
a low product indicator device including a protruding portion fixed with respect to a remainder of the low product indicator and configured to extend forward of the barrier when an amount of product positioned on the floor is low;
wherein the low product indicator device is configured to move forward with the pusher mechanism as the product nearest the forward end is removed, and wherein forward movement of the low product indicator device stops when a predetermined amount of product is removed from the merchandise display system.
10. The merchandise display system of claim 9 , wherein the predetermined amount of product is adjustable.
11. The merchandise display system of claim 9 , wherein the barrier is transparent.
12. The merchandise display system of claim 9 , wherein the low product indicator device is visible when an amount of product positioned on the floor is low.
13. The merchandise display system of claim 9 , wherein the low product indicator device is removably engaged with the merchandise display system.
14. The merchandise display system of claim 9 , the low product indicator device further comprising a bottom wall.
15. The merchandise display system of claim 14 , wherein the bottom wall of the low product indicator device is configured to slide under the pusher mechanism when all product is removed from the merchandise display system.
16. The merchandise display system of claim 9 ,
wherein the low product indicator device further comprising a side wall, a front wall, and a bottom wall;
wherein the biasing device comprises a coiled spring; and
wherein the coiled spring passes over the bottom wall of the low product indicator device and below the front wall of the low product indicator device.
17. A low product indicator device for a merchandise display system, the low product indicator device comprising:
a low product indicator device having a front wall, a side wall, and a bottom wall;
wherein the low product indicator device is configured to be used with a merchandise display system having a coiled spring and wherein the low product indicator device is configured to move forward as product nearest a forward end in the merchandise display system is removed;
wherein a coiled spring is configured to pass over the bottom wall of the low product indicator device; and
wherein the low product indicator device further comprises a protruding portion, and wherein the protruding portion is configured to extend forward of the front wall of the low product indicator.
18. The low product indicator device for a merchandise display system of claim 17 , wherein the coiled spring is configured to pass below the front wall of the low product indicator device.
