Abstract

A method for identifying a change associated with a state of health of a user. In one embodiment, the method includes at least one computer processors receiving monitoring data associated with monitoring a user, where the monitoring data is generated by one or more sensors. The method further includes determining a state of health of the monitored user by analyzing the monitoring data utilizing one or more models. The method further includes determining a level of urgency based, at least in part, upon the determine state of health of the monitored user. The method further includes transmitting one or more respective notifications to one or more devices based, at least in part, on the determined state of health of the user and the corresponding level of level of urgency, and where a notification includes a determined state of health and the corresponding determined state of urgency associated with the monitored user.

11 . The computer program product of claim 8 , further comprising:

program instructions to determine that a model does not determine a state of health of the monitored user;

program instructions to respond determining that a model does not determine the state of health of the monitored user, by communicating with the device of the monitored user to obtain information from the monitored user;

program instructions to receive information input to the device of the monitored user, wherein the received information includes feedback related to a state of health, as interpreted by the monitored user and information related to the received monitoring data; and

program instructions to modify one or more models of the monitored user based, at least in part, on the received information and one or more machine learning algorithms.

12 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein program instructions to receive monitoring data associated with monitoring the user further comprises:

program instructions to information associated with the consistency of food consumed by the monitored user based on receiving information input by the user and information received from one or more sensors; and

program instructions to analyze data related to one or more actions associated with the monitored user consuming the food, wherein data related to one or more actions associated with the monitored user consuming the food includes a duration of time associated with consuming a portion of food and one or more sounds produced consuming the portion of food.

13 . The computer program product of claim 10 , further comprising:

in response to determining that a model does not determine the state of health of the monitored user, program instructions to identify one or more behaviors of the monitored user related to the consumption of food; and

wherein one or more behaviors the monitored user related to the consumption of food are selected from the group consisting of preferentially chewing in a portion of the mouth, a size of the portion of food within the mouth of the monitored user, a sequence of actions associated with consuming food and beverage.

14 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the monitoring data includes information related to one or more physical characteristics of neck and throat region of the monitored user, selected from the group consisting of: information associated with a skin condition, a degree of tension in one or more muscles, one or more lumps under the skin, and a physical orientation of the monitored user; and

wherein the monitoring data includes environmental factors associated with the monitored user, selected from the group consisting of: one or more items of apparel in proximity to the neck and throat region, a temperature in proximity to the monitored user, and a level of stress associated with the monitored user.

15 . A computer system for identifying a change associated with a state of health of a user, the computer system comprising:

one or more computer processors;

one or more computer readable storage media;

program instructions stored on the computer readable storage media for reading/execution by at least one of the one or more computer processors, the program instructions further comprising:

program instructions to receive data associated with monitoring a user, wherein monitoring data is obtained via one or more sensors;

program instructions to analyze the monitoring data by utilizing one or more models to determine a state of health of the monitored user;
