Claims (40)

1. An apparatus comprising:

circuitry configured to

control a display to display a plurality of home screen icons, each of the plurality of home screen icons indicating one of a plurality of home screens;

control the display to display a plurality of selector icons, each of the plurality of selector icons corresponding to one of the plurality of home screens;

control the display to display a plurality of object icons, each of the plurality of object icons corresponding to one of a plurality of objects capable of being applied to at least one of the plurality of home screens;

receive a first selection of one of the plurality of selector icons;

receive a second selection of one of the plurality of object icons; and

apply the object corresponding to the one of the plurality of object icons selected in the second selection to the one of the plurality of home screens corresponding to the one of the plurality of selector icons selected in the first selection.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein:

the display comprises a first display portion and a second display portion that are physically separated from each other; and

the circuitry is configured to

control the first display portion to display the plurality of home screen icons and the plurality of selector icons; and

control the second display portion to display the plurality of object icons.

3. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein

each of the first display portion and the second display portion comprises a touch pad; and

the circuitry is configured to

receive the first selection through the touch pad of the first display portion; and

receive the second selection through the touch pad of the second display portion.

4. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein:

the display comprises a touch pad; and

the circuitry is configured to receive the first selection and the second selection through the touch pad.

5. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is configured to control the display to display the plurality of home screen icons separately from the plurality of selector icons.

6. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of objects comprise at least one of:

at least one widget;

at least one shortcut to an application; or

at least one wallpaper.

7. A method comprising:

displaying, on a display, a plurality of home screen icons, each of the plurality of home screen icons indicating one of a plurality of home screens;

displaying, on the display, a plurality of selector icons, each of the plurality of selector icons corresponding to one of the plurality of home screens;

displaying, on the display, a plurality of object icons, each of the plurality of object icons corresponding to one of a plurality of objects capable of being applied to at least one of the plurality of home screens;

receiving, using circuitry, a first selection of one of the plurality of selector icons;

receiving, using the circuitry, a second selection of one of the plurality of object icons; and

applying, using the circuitry, the object corresponding to the one of the plurality of object icons selected in the second selection to the one of the plurality of home screens corresponding to the one of the plurality of selector icons selected in the first selection.

8. A non-transitory, computer readable medium storing instructions that, when executed on circuitry of an apparatus, control the circuitry to

control a display to display a plurality of home screen icons, each of the plurality of home screen icons indicating one of a plurality of home screens;

control the display to display a plurality of selector icons, each of the plurality of selector icons corresponding to one of the plurality of home screens;

control the display to display a plurality of object icons, each of the plurality of object icons corresponding to one of a plurality of objects capable of being applied to at least one of the plurality of home screens;

receive a first selection of one of the plurality of selector icons;

receive a second selection of one of the plurality of object icons; and

apply the object corresponding to the one of the plurality of object icons selected in the second selection to the one of the plurality of home screens corresponding to the one of the plurality of selector icons selected in the first selection.
