Abstract

A work vehicle such as a tractor including an engine, a battery, a hydraulic continuously variable transmission, and an electric cylinder, and a power transmission mechanism. The hydraulic continuously variable transmission changes an output of the engine, and changes an angle of a movable swash plate to change a gear ratio thereof. The electric cylinder is driven by electric power supplied from the battery at least while the engine is stopped. With the power generated in the electric cylinder and transmitted, the power transmission mechanism changes the angle of the movable swash plate of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission.

Claims (65)

1. A work vehicle, comprising:

an engine;

a battery;

a hydraulic continuously variable transmission configured to change an output of the engine, and change an inclination angle of a movable swash plate to change a gear ratio;

an electric actuator configured to be driven by electric power supplied from the battery at least while the engine is stopped, the electric actuator arranged at a position such that:

a first portion of the electric actuator is arranged at a position higher than a center in a vertical direction of a rear axle of a rear wheel; and

a second portion of the electric actuator is arranged at a position lower than the center in the vertical direction of the rear axle of the rear wheel; and

a power transmission mechanism configured to change the inclination angle of the movable swash plate of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission, by transmitting power generated by the electric actuator.

2. The work vehicle according to claim 1 , further comprising:

an inclination angle detection unit configured to detect the inclination angle of the movable swash plate,

wherein the inclination angle detection unit is configured to detect the inclination angle of the movable swash plate, by receiving electric power supplied from the battery while the engine is stopped.

3. The work vehicle according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a switch operation unit capable of performing at least an operation of switching the hydraulic continuously variable transmission to neutral; and

a switching operation detection unit configured to detect an operation performed by the switch operation unit,

wherein, when the switching operation detection unit detects that an operation of switching to neutral is performed by the switch operation unit while the engine is stopped, the electric actuator changes the inclination angle of the movable swash plate so that the hydraulic continuously variable transmission is neutral.

4. The work vehicle according to claim 2 , further comprising:

a switch operation unit capable of performing at least an operation of switching the hydraulic continuously variable transmission to neutral; and

a switching operation detection unit configured to detect an operation performed by the switch operation unit,

wherein, when the switching operation detection unit detects that an operation of switching to neutral is performed by the switch operation unit while the engine is stopped, the electric actuator changes the inclination angle of the movable swash plate so that the hydraulic continuously variable transmission is neutral.

5. The work vehicle according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a shift lever configured to switch a vehicle speed;

a shift lever position detection unit configured to detect a position of the shift lever;

a switch operation unit configured to enable selection of any one of forward, neutral, and reverse of the shift lever;

a switch operation detection unit configured to:

detect an operation on the switching operation unit;

determine a result of detection by the shift lever position detecting unit; and

determine a result of detection by the switch operation detection unit.

6. The work vehicle according to claim 5 , wherein:

based on detection by the switch operation unit of a switching operation of the switch operation unit to neutral while the engine is stopped, the electric actuator is configured to change an inclination angle of the movable swash plate such that the hydraulic continuously variable transmission becomes neutral.

7. A system comprising:

a hydraulic continuously variable transmission comprising a swash plate;

an electric actuator coupled to the hydraulic continuously variable transmission and comprising a first portion and a second portion arranged with respect to a center of an axle in a vertical direction such that the first portion is higher and the second portion is lower than the center; and

a power transmission mechanism coupled to the hydraulic continuously variable transmission and to the electric actuator, the power transmission mechanism configured to, based on power received from the electric actuator, adjust an inclination angle of the swash plate.

8. The system according to claim 7 , further comprising:

an engine; and

the axle.

9. The system according to claim 8 , wherein the hydraulic continuously variable transmission is further configured to adjust an output of the engine.

10. The system according to claim 8 , wherein an inclination angle corresponding to the swash plate is configured to be adjusted to change a gear ratio of the engine.

11. The system according to claim 10 , wherein the axle comprises a rear axle.

12. The system according to claim 10 , further comprising:

a battery; and

a control device configured to enable electric power from the battery to be provided to the electric actuator at least while the engine is stopped.

13. The system according to claim 7 , further comprising:

an inclination angle detection unit configured to detect the inclination angle of the swash plate.

14. The system according to claim 7 , further comprising:

a shift lever configured to switch a vehicle speed; and

a shift lever position detection unit configured to detect a position of the shift lever.

15. The system according to claim 14 , further comprising:

a switch operation unit configured to enable selection of any one of forward, neutral, and reverse of the shift lever;

a switch operation detection unit configured to:

detect an operation on the switching operation unit;

determine a result of detection by the shift lever position detecting unit; and

determine a result of detection by the switch operation detection unit.

16. The system according to claim 15 , further comprising:

a control device configured to, based on detection by the switch operation unit of a switching operation of the switch operation unit to neutral while an engine is stopped, initiate operation of the electric actuator to adjust an inclination angle of the swash plate such that the hydraulic continuously variable transmission becomes neutral.

17. The system according to claim 7 , wherein the electric actuator comprises an electric cylinder.

18. The system according to claim 7 , wherein the electric actuator comprises:

a cylinder drive motor;
