Terminal device that clears configured uplink grant in response to a timer, base station device that considers a configured uplink grant cleared in response to a timer, and communication method and integrated circuit corresponding to same
Uplink data is transmitted efficiently. A terminal device is configured to, in a case that a difference between an uplink transmission timing in a Primary Timing Advance Group of a master cell group and an uplink transmission timing in a Primary Secondary Timing Advance Group of a secondary cell group exceeds a maximum transmission timing difference, consider that a timer for the Primary Secondary Timing Advance Group of the secondary cell group has expired and clear a configured uplink grant.
1. A terminal device configured to communicate with a base station device in a dual connectivity, the terminal device comprising:
receiving circuitry configured to receive, an uplink grant on a physical downlink control channel of a primary secondary cell of a secondary cell group; and
higher layer processing circuitry configured to store the uplink grant as a configured uplink grant, wherein
the higher layer processing circuitry is configured to:
in a case that a difference between an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including a primary cell of a master cell group and an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group exceeds a maximum transmission timing difference,
consider that a timer of the timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group as expired, and
clear the configured uplink grant.
2. A base station device configured to communicate with a terminal device in a dual connectivity, the base station device comprising:
transmitting circuitry configured to transmit, an uplink grant on a physical downlink control channel of a primary secondary cell of a secondary cell group; and
higher layer processing circuitry configured to consider that the uplink grant is stored as a configured uplink grant, wherein
the higher layer processing circuitry is configured to:
in a case that a difference between an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including a primary cell of a master cell group and an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group exceeds a maximum transmission timing difference,
consider that a timer of the timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group as expired,
consider that the configured uplink grant as cleared.
3. A communication method of a terminal device configured to communicate with a base station device in a dual connectivity, the communication method comprising:
receiving, an uplink grant on a physical downlink control channel of a primary secondary cell of a secondary cell group; and
storing the uplink grant as a configured uplink grant, wherein
in a case that a difference between an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including a primary cell of a master cell group and an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group exceeds a maximum transmission timing difference,
a timer of the timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group is considered as expired, and
the configured uplink grant is cleared.
4. A communication method of a base station device configured to communicate with a terminal device in a dual connectivity, the communication method comprising:
transmitting, an uplink grant on a physical downlink control channel of a primary secondary cell of a secondary cell group; and
considering that the uplink grant is stored as a configured uplink grant, wherein
in a case that a difference between an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including a primary cell of a master cell group and an uplink transmission timing for a timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group exceeds a maximum transmission timing difference,
a timer of the timing advance group including the primary secondary cell of the secondary cell group is considered as expired, and
the configured uplink grant is considered as cleared.
