Abstract

A sheet manufacturing apparatus according to the invention includes: a mixing unit that mixes a fiber and a resin powder in air; and a sheet forming unit that accumulates and heats a mixture mixed by the mixing unit to form a sheet, in which the resin powder has a volume average particle diameter of equal to or less than 50 μm, and an absolute value of an average charging amount in a range of 5 (μC/g) to 40 (μC/g).

Claims (26)

1 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus, comprising:

a mixing unit that mixes a fiber and a resin powder in air; and

a sheet forming unit that accumulates and heats a mixture mixed by the mixing unit to form a sheet,

wherein the resin powder has a volume average particle diameter of equal to or less than 50 μm, and an absolute value of an average charging amount in a range of 5 (μC/g) to 40 (μC/g).

2 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the mixing unit includes a supplying unit that supplies the resin powder having the volume average particle diameter of equal to or less than 50 μm, and the absolute value of an average charging amount in a range of 5 (μC/g) to 40 (μC/g).

3 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the resin powder has an average charging amount which is equal to or less than −5 (μC/g) and equal to or greater than −40 (μC/g).

4 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the resin powder has an average charging amount which is equal to or less than −15 (μC/g) and equal to or greater than −40 (μC/g).

5 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the resin powder has a volume average particle diameter of equal to or less than 30 μm.

6 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the resin powder has a volume average particle diameter of equal to or greater than 5 μm.

7 . A sheet manufacturing method comprising:

a mixing step of mixing a fiber and a resin powder in air, and

a sheet forming step of accumulating and heating a mixture mixed in the mixing step to form a sheet,

wherein the resin powder has a volume average particle diameter of equal to or less than 50 μm, and an absolute value of an average charging amount in a range of 5 (μC/g) to 40 (μC/g).

8 . A resin powder for manufacturing paper or non-woven fabric,

wherein a volume average particle diameter is equal to or less than 50 μm, and an absolute value of an average charging amount is in a range of 5 (μC/g) to 40 (μC/g).

9 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the resin powder has a volume average particle diameter of equal to or greater than 10 μm.

10 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 1 ,

wherein the resin powder includes a resin particle and an inorganic fine particle that is disposed on a surface of the resin particle.

11 . The sheet manufacturing apparatus according to claim 10 ,

wherein a blending amount of the inorganic particle is in a range of 0.1% by mass to 50% by mass.
