Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for managing baggage and a method for managing baggage with which improved usability can be obtained. In order to solve the problem, an apparatus for managing baggage is provided with: a reader unit which reads tag information of a wireless tag attached to a baggage; a storage unit in which the tag information read by the reader unit is stored; and a control unit which makes a determination of a forgotten baggage by comparing the tag information stored in the storage unit with tag information newly read by the reader unit.

Claims (48)

1. An apparatus for managing baggage that manages a baggage and provides a notification of a forgotten baggage, comprising:

a tag information reading unit that reads radio tag information installed in a baggage;

a management information storage unit that stores baggage management information including item name information of a baggage to be necessary to carry, user name information of a user who needs the baggage, the radio tag information corresponding to the baggage, and a carrying condition of the baggage;

a baggage management executing unit that executes a user identification process, a forgotten baggage notification process, and a baggage management information update process on the basis of the radio tag information read by the tag information reading unit and the baggage management information stored in the management information storage unit,

a display unit; and

an operation unit,

wherein,

as the user identification process:

when there is one user name associated with the radio tag information read by the tag information reading unit, the baggage management executing unit determines the user indicated by the user name as the target user of the forgotten baggage notification process, and

when there are a plurality of user names associated with the radio tag information read by the tag information reading unit, the baggage management executing unit displays the plurality of user names on the display unit and determines a user indicated by a user name selected by the operation unit as the target user of the forgotten baggage notification process; and

as the forgotten baggage notification process:

when the radio tag information included in the baggage management information stored in the management information storage unit is not read by the tag information reading unit, the baggage management executing unit notifies an item name information associated with the radio tag information that is not read by displaying on the display unit as a forgotten baggage of the user determined in the user identification process, and

as the baggage management information update process:

in a case in which the tag information reading unit reads the radio tag information not registered in the baggage management information, the baggage management executing unit registers the radio tag information as the radio tag information of the baggage of the identified user.

2. The apparatus for managing baggage according to claim 1 , further comprising,

a timepiece unit that outputs information of a date and time and a day of the week,

wherein, in the baggage management information, baggage which it is necessary to carry are registered to be distinguished for each day of the week or each event as the carrying condition, and

the baggage management executing unit determines the forgotten baggage of the identified user on the basis of the information of the date and time and the day of the week from the timepiece unit or information of the presence or absence of an event.

3. An apparatus for managing baggage that manages baggage and provides a notification of a forgotten baggage, comprising:

a tag information reading unit that reads radio tag information installed in a baggage;

a management information storage unit that stores baggage management information including a baggage which is previously registered to be necessary to carry for each user, the radio tag information corresponding to the baggage, and a carrying condition of the baggage;

a baggage management executing unit that identifies a user and determines a forgotten baggage of the identified user on the basis of the radio tag information read by the tag information reading unit and the baggage management information stored in the management information storage unit; and

a timepiece unit that outputs information of a date and time and a day of the week,

wherein, in a case in which the tag information reading unit reads the radio tag information not registered in the baggage management information, the baggage management executing unit registers the radio tag information as the radio tag information of the baggage of the identified user,

wherein, in the baggage management information, baggage which it is necessary to carry are registered to be distinguished for each day of the week or each event as the carrying condition,

wherein the baggage management executing unit determines the forgotten baggage of the identified user on the basis of the information of the date and time and the day of the week from the timepiece unit or information of the presence or absence of an event, and

wherein the baggage management executing unit generates log information including the number of baggage checking operations and the number of detections of the radio tag of the baggage for each day of the week or each event, stores the log information as the baggage management information, regards a baggage satisfying a predetermined carrying requirement condition as the baggage which is necessary to carry, and sets the carrying condition.

4. An apparatus for managing baggage that manages a baggage in cooperation with an information terminal device and provides a notification of a forgotten baggage, comprising:

a communication unit that performs transmission and reception of information with the information terminal device;

a schedule information storage unit that stores schedule information of a user acquired from the information terminal device;

a timepiece unit that outputs information of a date and time and a day of the week;

a tag information reading unit that reads radio tag information installed in a baggage;

a management information storage unit that stores baggage management information including a baggage which is previously registered to be necessary to carry for each user, the radio tag information corresponding to the baggage, and a carrying condition of the baggage; and

a baggage management executing unit that identifies a user and determines a forgotten baggage of the identified user on the basis of the radio tag information read by the tag information reading unit and the baggage management information stored in the management information storage unit,

wherein the baggage management executing unit determines the forgotten baggage of the user on the basis of the information of the date and time and the day of the week from the timepiece unit, the schedule information of the user stored in the schedule information storage unit, and a carrying condition included in the baggage management information.

5. The apparatus for managing baggage according to claim 4 , wherein the baggage management executing unit provides a notification of the forgotten baggage to the information terminal device through the communication unit in a case in which the user forgets a baggage.

6. A baggage management system in which an apparatus for managing baggage and an information terminal device cooperate to manage the baggage and provide a notification of a forgotten baggage, comprising:

the apparatus for managing the baggage including:

a first communication unit that performs transmission and reception of information with the information terminal device,

a first schedule information storage unit that stores schedule information of a user acquired from the information terminal device,

a timepiece unit that outputs information of a date and time and a day of the week,

a tag information reading unit that reads radio tag information installed in a baggage,

a management information storage unit that stores baggage management information including a baggage which is previously registered to be necessary to carry for each user, the radio tag information corresponding to the baggage, and a carrying condition of the baggage, and

a baggage management executing unit that identifies a user and determines a forgotten baggage of the identified user on the basis of the radio tag information read by the tag information reading unit and the baggage management information stored in the management information storage unit; and

the information terminal device including:

a second communication unit that performs transmission and reception of information with the apparatus for managing baggage, and

a second schedule information storage unit that stores schedule information of the user,

wherein the baggage management executing unit of the apparatus for managing baggage determines the forgotten baggage of the user on the basis of the information of the date and time and the day of the week from the timepiece unit, the schedule information of the user stored in the first schedule information storage unit, and a carrying condition included in the baggage management information, and provides a notification of the forgotten baggage to the information terminal device through the first communication unit in a case in which the user forgets a baggage.
