Abstract

Provided is a customer management system. The system includes a customer computing device for accessing and receiving data produced by the system and a server located at a service provider, the server, wherein the server coupled to the customer computing device. The server is programmed to receive from the customer computing device customer preferences and automatically store the customer preferences, and to receive from the customer computing device shopping lists over time and automatically store the shopping lists. The server may automatically generate a customer history in response to retrieving and processing the stored customer preferences and the stored shopping lists and may be programmed to receive from the customer computing device a request for a virtual expert.

Claims (24)

1 . A customer management system, comprising:

a customer computing device for accessing and receiving data produced by the system;

a server located at a service provider, the server coupled to the customer computing device and programmed to:

receive from the customer computing device customer preferences and automatically store the customer preferences;

receive from the customer computing device shopping lists over time and automatically store the shopping lists; and

automatically generate a customer history in response to retrieving and processing the stored customer preferences and the stored shopping lists.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the customer preferences comprises dietary restrictions.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the server is programmed to receive and store known locations of the customer.

4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the server is programmed to receive and store a reliability of the customer to be at the location selected for delivery.

5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the server is programmed to receive and store an indication of an acceptance of substitutions for items on the shopping lists based upon vectors.

6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the indication of substitutions for items includes an indication of types of substitutions comprising at least one of price, brand, quality, freshness, expiration date, and combinations thereof, wherein the items are vectorized.

7 . A customer management system, comprising:

a customer computing device for accessing and receiving data produced by the system;

a server located at a service provider, the server, wherein the server coupled to the customer computing device and programmed to:

receive from the customer computing device customer preferences and automatically store the customer preferences;

receive from the customer computing device shopping lists over time and automatically store the shopping lists;

automatically generate a customer history in response to retrieving and processing the stored customer preferences and the stored shopping lists;

receive from the customer computing device a request for a virtual expert; and

automatically generate and transmit an expert interface to the customer computing device in response to automatically retrieving stored customer preferences and processing the request for the virtual expert and the stored customer preferences.

8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the customer preferences comprises dietary restrictions.

9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the server is programmed to receive and store an indication of an acceptance of substitutions for items on the shopping lists.

10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the indication of substitutions for items includes an indication of types of substitutions comprising at least one of price, brand, quality, freshness, expiration date, and combinations thereof.

11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the server is programmed to send an expert recommendation to the customer, wherein the expert recommendation corresponds with the customer preferences, including dietary restrictions, substitutions and combinations thereof.

The system of claim 10 , wherein the server is programmed to and automatically generate order instructions in response to accessing and processing the customer preferences, the shopping list and an expert recommendation, wherein the expert recommendation corresponds with the customer preferences, including dietary restrictions, substitutions and combinations thereof.
