CREDIT WAGERING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A managed credit system and method for managing and processing various types of credits is disclosed. The managed credit system can provide various options for processing cashable credits, restricted credits, and managed credits. Wager account balances can be paid down automatically prior to the disbursement of cash in exchange for managed credits. Cash submissions during wager account sessions can be detected and processed by converting the cash submission to managed credits. Wager account advance requests can be detected during cash game sessions. Managed credits can be converted to cashable credits. Different types of casino credit can be tracked using different meters. Varying disbursement and conversion rules can be applied to different types of credit. Game credit accounts with mixed credit types that include managed credits can be wagered in a fixed order while accommodating cash submissions.
1 . A gaming device comprising in combination:
a video game display;
a cash submission acceptance device;
a managed credit meter reporting remaining wager line-of-credit provided to a user by a third party; and
a second credit meter reporting one or more among (i) user cash submission credit remaining for the user and (ii) user cash submission credit remaining to the user plus the remaining wager line-of-credit for the user.
2 . The gaming device of claim 1 further comprising a data communications network connection to an account management server.
3 . The gaming device of claim 1 wherein the video game display is a touch display.
4 . The gaming device of claim 2 wherein the video game display is a touch display.
5 . The gaming device of claim 1 wherein the gaming device is a fixed gaming machine.
6 . The gaming device of claim 1 wherein the gaming device is a mobile gaming device.
7 . The gaming device of claim 1 wherein the gaming device is a wireless gaming device.
8 . The gaming device of claim 2 wherein the gaming device is a fixed gaming machine.
9 . The gaming device of claim 2 wherein the gaming device is a mobile gaming device.
10 . The gaming device of claim 2 wherein the gaming device is a wireless gaming device.
11 . The gaming device of claim 1 where the gaming device comprises one or more of a slot machine and a video poker machine having the video game display, the cash submission acceptance device, the managed credit meter, and the second credit meter.
12 . The gaming device of claim 2 where the gaming device comprises one or more of a slot machine and a video poker machine having the video game display, the cash submission acceptance device, the managed credit meter, and the second credit meter.
13 . The gaming device of claim 3 where the gaming device comprises one or more of a slot machine and a video poker machine having the video game display, the cash submission acceptance device, the managed credit meter, and the second credit meter.
