SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BROADCASTING LIVE CONTENT

1 . A computer-implemented method comprising:

determining, by a computing system, a live content stream that is being broadcasted using a computing device of a broadcasting user;

determining, by the computing system, at least one privacy filter to be applied to conceal at least a portion of subject matter represented in the live content stream; and

applying, by the computing system, the at least one privacy filter to conceal at least the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream.

2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the live content stream is presented to viewers with the privacy filter concealing at least the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream.

3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the privacy filter is inserted over the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream as a graphical overlay.

4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the privacy filter conceals an environment represented in the live content stream.

5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the privacy filter conceals one or more objects represented in the live content stream.

6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 5 , wherein the objects include human faces.

7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 5 , wherein the objects include one or more surfaces on which information is represented.

8 . The computer-implemented method of claim 7 , wherein the surfaces include at least one of a physical screen or an electronic screen.

9 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the privacy filter replaces an environment represented in the live content stream with a solid color or pattern.

10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the privacy filter replaces an environment represented in the live content stream with an animated reel in which a different environment is represented.

11 . A system comprising:

at least one processor; and

a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform:

determining a live content stream that is being broadcasted using a computing device of a broadcasting user;

determining at least one privacy filter to be applied to conceal at least a portion of subject matter represented in the live content stream; and

applying the at least one privacy filter to conceal at least the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream.

12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the live content stream is presented to viewers with the privacy filter concealing at least the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream.

13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the privacy filter is inserted over the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream as a graphical overlay.

14 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the privacy filter conceals an environment represented in the live content stream.

15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the privacy filter conceals one or more objects represented in the live content stream.

16 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform a method comprising:

determining a live content stream that is being broadcasted using a computing device of a broadcasting user;

determining at least one privacy filter to be applied to conceal at least a portion of subject matter represented in the live content stream; and

applying the at least one privacy filter to conceal at least the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the live content stream is presented to viewers with the privacy filter concealing at least the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream.

18 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the privacy filter is inserted over the portion of the subject matter represented in the live content stream as a graphical overlay.

19 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the privacy filter conceals an environment represented in the live content stream.

20 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 16 , wherein the privacy filter conceals one or more objects represented in the live content stream.
