an electrical component imbedded within at least one of the barrel and the action and at least one functional type of fiber connected to the electrical component,
wherein at least the barrel and the action are fabricated as an integral component from a plurality of structural fibers that are continuous through at least the barrel and the action.
2. The sporting equipment of claim 1 , wherein the electrical component is configured to generate a signal indicative of shot initiation.
3. The sporting equipment of claim 1 , wherein the electrical component is at least one of a resistor, a capacitor, an LED, an RFID tag, a switch, a battery, a filter, and an interrogator.
4. The sporting equipment of claim 1 , wherein the functional type of fiber includes at least one of an electrically conductive metallic fiber, an optical fiber, and a shape memory fiber located at least partially inside of the barrel.
5. The sporting equipment of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of structural fibers include at least one of an aramid fiber, a carbon fiber, and a glass fiber.
6. The sporting equipment of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of structural fibers passing through the barrel and the action are at least partially coated with different types of matrixes at different locations.
7. The sporting equipment of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of structural fibers include fibers overlapping in directions and densities that are different at different locations along the barrel and action.
8. The sporting equipment of claim 1 , further including a hardpoint formed within the action and configured to receive a portion of the stock, the hardpoint having a center free of fibers and a perimeter wall of fibers.
9. A sporting equipment, comprising:
a barrel;
an action connected to a base end of the barrel; and
a stock connected to the action opposite the barrel,
wherein at least the barrel is fabricated from a plurality of structural type of fibers and at least one of continuous electrically conductive metallic fiber, an optical fiber, and a shape memory fiber located at least partially inside of the barrel.
10. The sporting equipment of claim 9 , wherein the structural type of fiber includes at least one of an aramid fiber, a carbon fiber, and a glass fiber.
11. The sporting equipment of claim 9 , wherein the plurality of structural type of fibers are at least partially coated different types of matrixes at different locations.
12. The sporting equipment of claim 9 , further including an electrical component imbedded within at least the barrel and connected to the at least one continuous electrically conductive metallic fiber, optical fiber, and shape memory fiber.
13. The sporting equipment of claim 12 , wherein the electrical component is configured to generate a signal indicative of shot initiation.
14. The sporting equipment of claim 12 , wherein the electrical component is at least one of a resistor, a capacitor, an LED, an RFID tag, a switch, a battery, a filter, and an interrogator.
15. A sporting equipment, comprising:
a barrel;
