Abstract

A method and apparatus for processing contact information, the method comprising: displaying a list of contacts on a display of a wireless terminal; determining a first contact from the list of contacts in response to a selection by a user; obtaining a web log address and an online shop address of the first contact; obtaining, from a network service, a first content corresponding to the web log address and the online shop address of the first contact; and displaying the first content on a first area of the display, the first content being dynamically updated.

Claims (80)

1. A cellphone, comprising:

a display;

one or more processors; and

a memory storing programming for execution by the one or more processors, the programming including instructions for:

displaying a list of contacts on the display;

determining a first contact from the list of contacts in response to a selection by a user;

binding the first contact to a first specific area of the display;

displaying a first image corresponding to the first contact on the first specific area of the display;

determining a second contact from the list of contacts in response to another selection by the user;

binding the second contact to a second specific area of the display;

displaying a second image corresponding to the second contact on the second specific area of the display;

obtaining, from a network service, an updated first image corresponding to the first contact;

obtaining, from the network service, a updated second image corresponding to the second contact;

displaying the updated first image on the first specific area of the display; and

displaying the updated second image on the second specific area of the display, wherein the first specific area of the display is different from the second specific area of the display.

2. The cellphone of claim 1 , wherein the first specific area of the display is designated for the first contact, and the second specific area of the display is designated for the second contact.

3. The cellphone of claim 1 , further comprising:

logging into a location of the network service in accordance with the first contact for obtaining the updated first image corresponding to the first contact; and

logging into a location of the network service in accordance with the second contact for obtaining the updated second image corresponding to the second contact.

4. The cellphone of claim 1 , wherein a size and arrangement of the first specific area of the display is configured by the user, and a size and arrangement of the second specific area of the display is configured by the user.

The cellphone of claim 1 , wherein a size and arrangement of the first specific area is determined for the updated first image corresponding to the first contact, and a size and arrangement of the second specific area is determined for the updated second image corresponding to the second contact.

6. The cellphone of claim 1 , wherein the first contact and the second contact are the contacts of an instant messaging application.

7. The cellphone of claim 1 , wherein the first contact includes a contact of a first instant messaging application and the second contact includes a contact of a second instant messaging application.

8. A cellphone, comprising:

a display;

one or more processors; and

a memory storing programming for execution by the one or more processors, the one or more processors configured to perform operations including:

displaying a list of contacts on the display;

determining a first contact from the list of contacts in response to a selection by a user;

binding the first contact to a first specific area of the display;

determining a second contact from the list of contacts in response to another selection by the user;

binding the second contact to a second specific area of the display;

obtaining, from a network service, a first image corresponding to the first contact;

obtaining, from the network service, a second image corresponding to the second contact;

displaying the first image on the first specific area of the display;

displaying the second image on the second specific area of the display;

wherein the first specific area of the display is different from the second specific area of the display, and the first image and the second image are dynamically updated.

9. The cellphone of claim 8 , wherein the first specific area of the display is designated for the first contact, and the second specific area of the display is designated for the second contact.

10. The cellphone of claim 8 , further comprising:

logging into a location of the network service in accordance with the first contact for obtaining the first image corresponding to the first contact; and

logging into a location of the network service in accordance with the second contact for obtaining the second image corresponding to the second contact.

11. The cellphone of claim 8 , wherein the first contact and the second contact include contacts of an instant messaging application.

12. The cellphone of claim 8 , wherein the first content contact includes a contact of a first instant messaging application and the second contact includes a contact of a second instant messaging application.

13. The cellphone of claim 12 , wherein a size and arrangement of the first specific area is determined for the first image corresponding to the first contact, and a size and arrangement of the second specific area is determined for the second image corresponding to the second contact.

14. A method for processing contact information performed by a cellphone, the method comprising:

displaying a list of contacts on the display;

determining a first contact from the list of contacts in response to a selection by a user;

binding the first contact to a first specific area of the display;

determining a second contact from the list of contacts in response to another selection by the user;

binding the second contact to a second specific area of the display;

obtaining, from a network service, a first image corresponding to the first contact;

obtaining, from the network service, a second image corresponding to the second contact;

displaying the first image on the first specific area of the display;

displaying the second image on the second specific area of the display;

wherein the first specific area of the display is different from the second specific area of the display, and the first image and the second image are dynamically updated.

15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the first specific area of the display is designated for the first contact, and the second specific area of the display is designated for the second contact.

16. The method of claim 14 , further comprising:

logging into a location of the network service in accordance with the first contact for obtaining the first image corresponding to the first contact; and

logging into a location of the network service in accordance with the second contact for obtaining the second image corresponding to the second contact.

17. The method of claim 14 , wherein the first contact and the second contact include contacts of an instant messaging application.

18. The method of claim 14 , wherein the first content contact includes a contact of a first instant messaging application and the second contact includes a contact of a second instant messaging application.

19. The method of claim 18 , wherein a size and arrangement of the first specific area is determined for the first image corresponding to the first contact, and a size and arrangement of the second specific area is determined for the second image corresponding to the second contact.

20. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs including instructions, which, when executed by a cellphone with a display, a touch-sensitive surface, and one or more processors, cause the cellphone to:

display a list of contacts on the display;

determine a first contact from the list of contacts in response to a selection by a user;

bind the first contact to a first specific area of the display;

determine a second contact from the list of contacts in response to another selection by the user;

bind the second contact to a second specific area of the display;

obtain, from a network service, a first image corresponding to the first contact;

obtain, from the network service, a second image corresponding to the second contact;

display the first image on the first specific area of the display;

display the second image on the second specific area of the display;

wherein the first specific area of the display is different from the second specific area of the display, and the first image and the second image are dynamically updated.

21. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 20 , wherein the first specific area of the display is designated for the first contact, and the second specific area of the display is designated for the second contact.

22. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 20 , the instructions further causing the cellphone to:

log into a location of the network service in accordance with the first contact for obtaining the first image corresponding to the first contact; and

log into a location of the network service in accordance with the second contact for obtaining the second image corresponding to the second contact.

23. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 20 , wherein the first contact and the second contact are the contacts of an instant messaging application.

24. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 20 , wherein the first content contact includes a contact of a first instant messaging application and the second contact includes a contact of a second instant messaging application.

25. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 24 , wherein a size and arrangement of the first specific area is determined for the first image corresponding to the first contact, and a size and arrangement of the second specific area is determined for the second image corresponding to the second contact.
