Abstract

An multistep guided system for mobile devices that facilitates the creation and dissemination of multistep guided activities from a source computer/device to a plurality of other recipient mobile devices, wherein the multistep guided activities is disseminated to the recipient mobile devices in a form that is compatible with the capabilities of the respective recipient mobile devices. The audio guided system comprises the source computer/device, the plurality of other recipient mobile devices and a server.

Claims (53)

1. A method comprising:

providing, to a client device, packaged questionnaire data comprising a textual prompt and an audio prompt corresponding to a question of a questionnaire, wherein providing the packaged questionnaire data causes the client device to:

display the textual prompt corresponding to the question and a digital selectable option for the audio prompt corresponding to the question within a first graphical user interface; and

upon receiving an indication of a selection of the digital selectable option within the first graphical user interface:

generate an audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt displayed within the first graphical user interface;

navigate to a second graphical user interface from the first graphical user interface to display one or more response choices to the question while continuing to generate the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface, wherein the second graphical user interface is different from the first graphical user interface; and

receive an interaction with an option to select a response choice from the one or more response choices displayed within the second graphical user interface while continuing to generate the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving, from the client device, a response to the question via the interaction with the option to select of the response choice as a selection of the response choice; and

identifying an additional question from the questionnaire based on the response.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein identifying the additional question based on the response comprises accessing a management tree that maps responses to a plurality of questions associated with the questionnaire.

4. The method of claim 2 , further comprising providing, to the client device, additional packaged questionnaire data comprising an additional textual prompt and an additional audio prompt corresponding to the additional question.

5. The method of claim 2 , wherein the interaction with the option to select the response choice comprises an audio input indicating the response choice from among the one or more response choices to the question.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the packaged questionnaire data to the client device further causes the client device to generate a response choice audible production reciting the one or more response choices displayed in the second graphical user interface after the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the indication of the selection of the digital selectable option comprises a single-selection action on the digital selectable option.

8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

sending a push notification corresponding to the questionnaire to the client device; and

providing, to the client device, the packaged questionnaire data associated with the questionnaire based on receiving an indication of a user interaction with the push notification.

9. A system comprising:

at least one processor; and

at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:

provide, to a client device, packaged questionnaire data comprising a textual prompt and an audio prompt corresponding to a question of a questionnaire, wherein providing the packaged questionnaire data causes the client device to:

display the textual prompt corresponding to the question and a digital selectable option for the audio prompt corresponding to the question within a first graphical user interface; and

upon receiving an indication of a selection of the digital selectable option with the first graphical user interface:

generate an audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt displayed within the first graphical user interface;

navigate to a second graphical user interface from the first graphical user interface to display one or more response choices to the question while continuing to generate the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface, wherein the second graphical user interface is different from the first graphical user interface; and

receive an interaction with an option to select a response choice from the one or more response choices displayed within the second graphical user interface while continuing to generate the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface.

10. The system of claim 9 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:

receive, from the client device, a response to the question via the interaction with the option to select the response choice as a selection of the response choice; and

identify an additional question from the questionnaire based on the response.

11. The system of claim 10 , wherein identifying the additional question based on the response comprises accessing a management tree that maps responses to a plurality of questions associated with the questionnaire.

12. The system of claim 10 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to provide, to the client device, additional packaged questionnaire data comprising an additional textual prompt and an additional audio prompt corresponding to the additional question.

13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the interaction with the option to select the response choice comprises an audio input indicating the response choice from among the one or more response choices to the question.

14. The system of claim 9 , wherein providing the packaged questionnaire data to the client device further causes the client device to generate a response choice audible production reciting the one or more response choices displayed in the second graphical user interface after the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface.

15. The system of claim 9 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:

send a push notification corresponding to the questionnaire to the client device; and

provide, to the client device, the packaged questionnaire data associated with the questionnaire based on receiving an indication of a user interaction with the push notification.

16. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computing device to:

receive, from a server device, packaged questionnaire data comprising a textual prompt and an audio prompt corresponding to a question of a questionnaire;

display the textual prompt corresponding to the question and a digital selectable option for the audio prompt corresponding to the question within a first graphical user interface; and

upon receiving an indication of a selection of the digital selectable option within the first graphical user interface:

generate an audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt displayed within the first graphical user interface;

navigate to a second graphical user interface from the first graphical user interface to display one or more response choices to the question while continuing to generate the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface, wherein the second graphical user interface is different from the first graphical user interface; and

receive an interaction with an option to select a response choice from the one or more response choices displayed within the second graphical user interface while continuing to generate the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface.

17. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to:

provide, to the server device, a response to the question via the interaction with the option to select the response choice as a selection of the response choice; and

receive, from the server device, an additional question identified based on the response.

18. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17 , wherein receiving, from the server device, the additional question comprises receiving additional packaged questionnaire data comprising an additional textual prompt and an additional audio prompt corresponding to the additional question.

19. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to generate a response choice audible production reciting the one or more response choices displayed in the second graphical user interface after the audible production of the audio prompt reciting the textual prompt from the first graphical user interface.

20. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to:

receive, from the server device, a push notification corresponding to the questionnaire;

provide, to the server device, an indication of a user interaction with the push notification; and

wherein receiving the packaged questionnaire data associated with the questionnaire is based on the indication of the user interaction with the push notification.
