Abstract

Methods of administering and pharmaceutical compositions of a biphenyl sulfonamide compound which is a dual angiotensin and endothelin receptor antagonist are disclosed for treating diseases.

Claims (14)

36 . A method of treating a chronic inflammatory disease, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a compound of Formula I:

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the amount of the compound of Formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

37 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the amount of the compound of Formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, administered to the subject is 100 mg/day, 200 mg/day, 400 mg/day, 800 mg/day or 1000 mg/day.

38 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the amount of the compound of Formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, administered to the subject is 100 mg/day.

39 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the amount of the compound of Formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, administered to the subject is 200 mg/day.

40 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the amount of the compound of Formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, administered to the subject is 400 mg/day.

41 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the amount of the compound of Formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, administered to the subject is 800 mg/day.

42 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the amount of the compound of Formula I, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, administered to the subject is 1000 mg/day.

43 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the chronic inflammatory disease is arthritis.

44 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the chronic inflammatory disease is rheumatoid arthritis.

45 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the chronic inflammatory disease is osteoarthritis.

46 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the chronic inflammatory disease is sarcoidosis.

47 . The method according to claim 36 , wherein the chronic inflammatory disease is eczematous dermatitis.
