Abstract

Disclosed are systems and method for providing message compression instructions by communicating with a plurality of sender machines and a plurality of receiver machines and monitoring one or more messages from the plurality of sender machines. The disclosed systems and methods may also identify a part of the one or more messages that is frequently included in a plurality of the messages sent by the plurality of sender machines, dynamically determine compression instructions to compress this part of the message, and provide the compression instructions to at least one of the plurality of sender machines, such that the compression instructions reduce size of the messages having the part of the message associated with the compression instructions.

Claims (108)

1. A computing server comprising instructions to:

monitor traffic or content transmitted over a network to identify at least one of information frequently transmitted over the network, information associated with a certain format, or information in a high traffic area of the network;

adjust instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data; and

transmit the adjusted instructions to at least one of a plurality of sender machines or to at least one of a plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compresses, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replaces, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompresses, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data, and

wherein the compressed message data or the adjusted instructions comprises a compression identifier.

2. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information frequently transmitted over the network;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to compress the message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data.

3. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information associated with the certain format;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to compress the message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data.

4. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information in the high traffic area of the network;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to compress the message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data.

5. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information frequently transmitted over the network;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to replace the message data with the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data.

6. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information associated with the certain format;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to replace the message data with the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data.

7. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information in the high traffic area of the network;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to replace the message data with the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data.

8. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information frequently transmitted over the network;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to decompress the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data.

9. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information associated with the certain format;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to decompress the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data.

10. The computing server of claim 1 ,

wherein monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information in the high traffic area of the network;

wherein adjusting instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to decompress the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data.

11. The computing server of claim 1 , wherein the computing server is further operable to transmit the compression identifier to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines.

12. The computing server of claim 1 , wherein the compressed message data comprises the compression identifier.

13. The computing server of claim 1 , wherein the adjusted instructions comprise the compression identifier.

14. A method for adjusting instructions, the method comprising:

monitoring, using one or more computing device processors, traffic or content transmitted over a network to identify at least one of information frequently transmitted over a network, information associated with the certain format, or information in a high traffic area of the network;

adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data; and

transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to at least one of a plurality of sender machines or to at least one of a plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compresses, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replaces, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompresses, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data, and

wherein the compressed message data or the adjusted instructions comprises a compression identifier.

15. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information frequently transmitted over the network;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to compress the message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data.

16. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information associated with the certain format;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to compress the message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data.

17. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information in the high traffic area of the network;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to compress the message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data.

18. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information frequently transmitted over the network;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to replace the message data with the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data.

19. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information associated with the certain format;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to replace the message data with the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data.

20. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information in the high traffic area of the network;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to replace the message data with the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of sender machines replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data.

21. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information frequently transmitted over the network;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to decompress the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data.

22. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information associated with the certain format;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to decompress the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data.

23. The method of claim 14 ,

wherein monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify at least one of the information frequently transmitted over the network, the information associated with the certain format, or the information in the high traffic area of the network comprises monitoring, using the one or more computing device processors, the traffic or content transmitted over the network to identify the information in the high traffic area of the network;

wherein adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to at least one of compress the message data, replace the message data with the compressed message data, or decompress the compressed message data comprises adjusting, using the one or more computing device processors, the instructions based on the monitored traffic or content to decompress the compressed message data,

wherein transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines comprises transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the adjusted instructions to the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines,

wherein the at least one of the plurality of sender machines compressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data or replacing, based on the adjusted instructions, the message data with the compressed message data, or wherein the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines, decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data comprises the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines decompressing, based on the adjusted instructions, the compressed message data.

24. The method of claim 14 , further comprising transmitting, using the one or more computing device processors, the compression identifier to the at least one of the plurality of sender machines or the at least one of the plurality of receiver machines.

25. The method of claim 14 , wherein the compressed message data comprises the compression identifier.

26. The method of claim 14 , wherein the adjusted instructions comprise the compression identifier.
