Abstract

A wireless device receives from a base station, one or more messages indicating a first scheduling request (SR) resource corresponding to a first logical channel corresponding to one or more first transmission durations up to a first value. A first SR is triggered in response to data becoming available to the first logical channel. A second SR is triggered in response to data becoming available to a second logical channel. When no valid SR resource being configured for the second SR: a random access procedure is initiated; the second SR is canceled, and the first SR is kept pending. The first SR is transmitted to the base station via the first SR resource in response to the triggering of the first SR. An uplink grant for transmission of one or more transport blocks in a transmission duration up to the first value is received from the base station.

Claims (38)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device from a base station, one or more messages indicating a first scheduling request (SR) resource corresponding to a first logical channel corresponding to one or more first transmission durations up to a first value;

triggering a first SR in response to data becoming available to the first logical channel;

triggering a second SR in response to data becoming available to a second logical channel;

when no valid SR resource being configured for the second SR:

initiating a random access procedure; and

canceling the second SR and keeping the first SR pending;

transmitting, to the base station, the first SR via the first SR resource in response to the triggering of the first SR; and

receiving, from the base station, an uplink grant for transmission of one or more transport blocks in a transmission duration up to the first value.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more transport blocks are transmitted via a physical uplink shared channel.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first logical channel and the second logical channel are for data transmission to a same base station.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first value is a maximum transmission duration value.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more messages indicate a first SR configuration index for a first SR configuration corresponding to the first SR resource.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the one or more messages indicates that the first logical channel corresponds to the first SR configuration.

7. The method of claim 5 , wherein the first SR configuration indicates one or more first timer values and one or more first counter values.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein a first transmission duration comprises a first transmission time interval for transmission of a first transport block.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first logical channel corresponds to a first quality of service requirement and the second logical channel corresponds to a second quality of service requirement.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the uplink grant comprises transmission parameters for the transmission of the one or more transport blocks.

11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more transport blocks comprise data from one or more logical channels comprising the first logical channel.

12. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or messages indicate one or more random access parameters.

13. A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive, from a base station, one or more messages indicating a first scheduling request (SR) resource corresponding to a first logical channel corresponding to one or more first transmission durations up to a first value;

trigger a first SR in response to data becoming available to the first logical channel;

trigger a second SR in response to data becoming available to a second logical channel;

when no valid SR resource being configured for the second SR:

initiate a random access procedure; and

cancel the second SR and keeping the first SR pending;

transmit, to the base station, a first SR via the first SR resource in response to the triggering of the first SR; and

receive, from the base station, an uplink grant for transmission of one or more transport blocks in a transmission duration up to the first value.

14. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the one or more transport blocks are transmitted via a physical uplink shared channel.

15. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the first logical channel and the second logical channel are for data transmission to a same base station.

16. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the first value is a maximum transmission duration value.

17. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the one or more messages indicate a first SR configuration index for a first SR configuration corresponding to the first SR resource.

18. The wireless device of claim 17 , wherein the one or more messages indicates that the first logical channel corresponds to the first SR configuration.

19. The wireless device of claim 17 , wherein the first SR configuration indicates one or more first timer values and one or more first counter values.

20. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein a first transmission duration comprises a first transmission time interval for transmission of a first transport block.
