21 . A method for a security and/or automation system, comprising:
determining a presence of a person located proximate at least one entry to a structure;
receiving a notification that a short-term entry code is attempting to be redeemed based at least in part on determining the presence of the person;
validating one or more short-term entry parameters associated with the short-term entry code; and
authenticating an action requested by the person based at least in part on the validating.
22 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
issuing the short-term entry code to the person, wherein validating the one or more short-term entry parameters is based at least in part on the issuing; and
transmitting the short-term entry code to the person prior to detecting the presence of the person.
23 . The method of claim 22 , further comprising:
obtaining information related to an identification of the person located proximate the at least one entry to the structure based at least in part on determining the presence of the person.
24 . The method of claim 23 , further comprising:
determining whether the one or more short-term entry parameters are satisfied based at least in part the obtained information and the short-term entry code, wherein authenticating the action requested by the person is based at least in part on determining that the one or more short-term entry parameters are satisfied.
25 . The method of claim 24 , further comprising:
denying the action requested by the person is based at least in part on determining that the one or more short-term entry parameters are not satisfied.
26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
unlocking a door and/or disabling at least part of a security system.
27 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the short-term entry code comprises at least one of a numerical key entry code, a graphical code, a bar code, a Quick Response (QR) code, or a combination thereof.
28 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
detecting motion proximate at least one entry to the structure using sensor data, wherein determining the presence of the person is based at least in part on detecting the motion; and
transmitting a discovery signal based at least in part on detecting the motion.
29 . The method of claim 28 , wherein the discovery signal is a directional signal and detects one or more devices external to the structure.
30 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the one or more short-term entry parameters comprises at least one of a day for redeeming the short-term entry code, a time of the day for redeeming the short-term entry code, one or more areas in the structure for accessing by the short-term entry code, or a combination thereof.
31 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
determining that a service company is associated with the person based at least in part on the received notification;
analyzing data associated with the service company; and
authorizing a delivery to be delivered proximate to the structure by the service company based at least in part on authenticating the action.
32 . An apparatus for security and/or automation systems, comprising:
a processor;
memory in electronic communication with the processor; and
instructions stored in the memory, the instructions causing the processor to:
determine a presence of a person located proximate at least one entry to a structure;
receive a notification that a short-term entry code is attempting to be redeemed based at least in part on determining the presence of the person;
validate one or more short-term entry parameters associated with the short-term entry code; and
authenticate an action requested by the person based at least in part on the validating.
33 . The apparatus of claim 32 , wherein the instructions further cause the processor to:
issue the short-term entry code to the person, wherein validating the one or more short-term entry parameters is based at least in part on the issuing; and
transmit the short-term entry code to the person prior to detecting the presence of the person.
34 . The apparatus of claim 33 , wherein the instructions further cause the processor to:
obtain information related to an identification of the person located proximate the at least one entry to the structure based at least in part on determining the presence of the person.
35 . The apparatus of claim 34 , wherein the instructions further cause the processor to:
determine whether the one or more short-term entry parameters are satisfied based at least in part the obtained information and the short-term entry code, wherein authenticating the action requested by the person is based at least in part on determining that the one or more short-term entry parameters are satisfied.
36 . The apparatus of claim 35 , wherein the instructions further cause the processor to:
deny the action requested by the person is based at least in part on determining that the one or more short-term entry parameters are not satisfied.
37 . The apparatus of claim 32 , wherein the short-term entry code comprises at least one of a numerical key entry code, a graphical code, a bar code, a Quick Response (QR) code, or a combination thereof.
38 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable code, the code executable by a processor to:
determine a presence of a person located proximate at least one entry to a structure;
receive a notification that a short-term entry code is attempting to be redeemed based at least in part on determining the presence of the person;
validate one or more short-term entry parameters associated with the short-term entry code; and
authenticate an action requested by the person based at least in part on the validating.
39 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 38 , wherein the code further executable by the processor to:
issue the short-term entry code to the person, wherein validating the one or more short-term entry parameters is based at least in part on the issuing; and
transmit the short-term entry code to the person prior to detecting the presence of the person.
40 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 39 , wherein the code further executable by the processor to:
obtain information related to an identification of the person located proximate the at least one entry to the structure based at least in part on determining the presence of the person.
