Abstract

The present invention includes a method of using PHY906 for treating a bowel disorder including inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Particularly, the present invention provides a multiple symptoms treatment for the bowel disorder.

Claims (2)

1. A method of treating irritable bowel syndrome in a patient in need comprising administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amount of a solid composition comprising an herbal preparation consisting essentially of Scutellaria baicalensis, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Ziziphus jujuba and Paeonia lactiflora.

2. The method according to claim 1 wherein said patient is a human patient.
