Rubber composition and pneumatic tire using same
Provided is a rubber composition which contains a diene rubber and a reinforcing filler. The diene rubber contains a styrene-butadiene copolymer component including at least one type of styrene-butadiene copolymer and satisfying: (1) the bonded styrene content is from 5 to 50 wt. %; (2) among components obtained by ozone decomposition, the content of a decomposed component V1 containing one 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived unit out of the total of 100 mol % of decomposed components containing styrene-derived units and/or 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived units is not less than 20 mol %; (3) among components obtained by ozone decomposition, the content of a decomposed component S2V1 containing two styrene-derived units and one 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived unit out of the total of 100 mol % of decomposed components containing styrene-derived units and/or 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived units is not less than 4 mol %; and (4) the vinyl content of a butadiene moiety is not less than 20% and less than 50%.
1. A rubber composition comprising:
a diene rubber including at least one type of styrene-butadiene copolymer; and
a reinforcing filler,
wherein the styrene-butadiene copolymer including the at least one type of styrene-butadiene copolymer has the following characteristics (1) to (4):
(1) a bonded styrene content is from 5 to 50 wt. %;
(2) a content of a linkage component V1 consisting of one 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived unit out of a total of 100 mol % of linkage components consisting of styrene-derived units and/or 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived units is not less than 20 mol %;
(3) a content of a linkage component S2V1 consisting of two styrene-derived units and one 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived unit out of a total of 100 mol % of linkage components consisting of styrene-derived units and/or 1,2-bonded butadiene-derived units is not less than 4 mol %; and
(4) a vinyl content of a butadiene moiety is not less than 20% and less than 50%.
2. The rubber composition according to claim 1 , wherein the diene rubber further includes another diene rubber other than the styrene-butadiene copolymer.
3. The rubber composition according to claim 1 , wherein the reinforcing filler is at least one type selected from silica and carbon black.
4. A pneumatic tire using the rubber composition described in claim 1 .
5. The pneumatic tire according to claim 4 , wherein the rubber composition is used in a cap tread.
6. The rubber composition according to claim 2 , wherein the reinforcing filler is at least one type selected from silica and carbon black.
7. A pneumatic tire using the rubber composition described in claim 6 .
8. The pneumatic tire according to claim 7 , wherein the rubber composition is used in a cap tread.
