Abstract

A method for controlling a gimbal includes detecting a motion state of a motion of the gimbal, comparing the motion state to a preset threshold, and controlling the gimbal to move along a moving direction of the motion or to move in an opposite direction to the moving direction oldie motion based on the comparison.

Claims (43)

1. A method for controlling a gimbal, the method comprising:

detecting a motion state of a motion of the gimbal;

comparing the motion state to a preset threshold to obtain a comparison result; and

controlling the gimbal to move along a moving direction of the motion or to move in an opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion based on the comparison result.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the motion state comprises an angular velocity and the preset threshold is an angular velocity threshold.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the motion state comprises a rotation angle and the present threshold is a rotation angle threshold.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the gimbal comprises:

controlling the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion in response to determining that the motion state exceeds the preset threshold; and

controlling the gimbal to move along the opposite direction in response to determining that the motion state does not exceed the preset threshold.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining whether the motion is a user-intended motion based on the comparison result to obtain a determination result and controlling the gimbal based on the determination result.

6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining whether the detected motion state corresponds to a received control signal to obtain a determination result; and

controlling the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion or to move in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion based on the determination result.

7. The method of claim 6 , wherein controlling the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion or to move in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion based on the determination result comprises:

controlling the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion in response to determining that the motion state corresponds to the received control signal; and

controlling the gimbal to move in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion in response to determining that the motion state does not correspond to the received control signal.

8. A system for controlling a gimbal, the system comprising:

a sensor that operates to detect a motion state of the gimbal; and

a controller that operates to: (1) compare the motion state to a preset threshold to obtain a comparison result, and (2) control the gimbal to move along a moving direction of the motion or to move in an opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion based on the comparison result.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the motion state comprises an angular velocity and the preset threshold is an angular velocity threshold.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the motion state comprises a rotation angle and the present threshold is a rotation angle threshold.

11. The system of claim 8 , wherein the controller further operates to:

control the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion in response to a determination that the motion state exceeds the preset threshold; and

control the gimbal to move along the opposite direction in response to a determination that the motion state does not exceed the preset threshold.

12. The system of claim 8 , wherein the controller further operates to determine whether the motion is a user-intended motion based on the comparison result to obtain a determination result and control the gimbal based on the determination result.

13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the controller further operates to:

determine whether the detected motion state corresponds to a received control signal to obtain a determination result; and

control the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion or to move in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion based on the determination result.

14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the controller further operates to:

control the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion in response to a determination that the motion state corresponds to the received control signal; and

control the gimbal to move in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion in response to a determination that the motion state does not correspond to the received control signal.

15. A system, comprising:

a gimbal mounted on a moving object; and

a controller that operates to: (1) detect a motion state of the gimbal; (2) compare the motion state to a preset threshold to obtain a comparison result, and (3) control the gimbal to move along a moving direction of the motion or to move in an opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion based on the comparison result.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the motion state comprises an angular velocity and the preset threshold is an angular velocity threshold.

17. The system of claim 15 , wherein the motion state comprises a rotation angle and the present threshold is a rotation angle threshold.

18. The system of claim 15 , wherein the controller further operates to:

control the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion in response to a determination that the motion state exceeds the preset threshold; and

control the gimbal to move along the opposite direction in response to a determination that the motion state does not exceed the preset threshold.

19. The system of claim 15 , wherein the controller further operates to determine whether the motion is a user-intended motion based on the comparison result to obtain a determination result and control the gimbal based on the determination result.

20. The system of claim 15 , wherein the controller further operates to:

determine whether the detected motion state corresponds to a received control signal to obtain a determination result; and

control the gimbal to move along the moving direction of the motion or to move in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the motion based on the determination result.
