Abstract

A battery connection module is adapted to connect a battery pack, the battery connection module comprises: a carrying tray; a plurality of busbars mounted on the carrying tray and adapted to electrically connect a plurality of batteries of the battery pack; a flexible circuit board mounted on the carrying tray and mechanically and electrically connected to the plurality of busbars, the flexible circuit board having a frame-shaped portion with an opening, a flexible mating portion being provided in the opening of the frame-shaped portion; and a battery management system mounted on the carrying tray, positioned above the flexible circuit board and comprising a flexible circuit board connector; the flexible mating portion extending into the opening and being reversely bent and mated with the flexible circuit board connector on the battery management system. These components are integrated to an integrated module that facilitates subsequent assembling and use.

Claims (17)

1. A battery connection module which is configured to connect to a battery pack, the battery pack comprising a plurality of batteries arranged side-by-side, each battery configured to have a pair of electrodes extending upwardly from an upper surface thereof, the battery connection module comprising:

a carrying tray having a base wall, the base wall having all upper surface and a lower surface, the lower surface of the carrying tray being configured to face the upper surface of the plurality of batteries;

a plurality of busbars mounted on the upper surface of the base wall of the carrying tray, each busbar having a lower surface which is configured to directly electrically connect to at least one of the electrodes of the battery pack;

a flexible circuit board mounted on the upper surface of the base wall of the carrying tray, the flexible circuit board being mechanically and electrically connected to an upper surface of each busbar, the flexible circuit board having a frame-shaped portion with an opening extending therethrough, the flexible circuit board defining, a flexible mating portion which extends into the opening of the frame-shaped portion; and

a battery management system mounted on the carrying tray, the batter management system being positioned above the flexible circuit board, the battery management system having a flexible circuit board connector,

wherein the flexible mating portion is reversely bent and mated with the flexible circuit board connector on the battery management system.
