Themed Gift Card and Gift Card Holder Combinations and Packaging Therefor
Various themed gift card and gift card holder combinations are disclosed. Some embodiments are contained inside a box along with novelty gift items that are themed or otherwise related to the type of gift card contained therein. Other embodiments contain various three-dimensional pop-up structures and other paper engineered constructs that are shaped, decorated and otherwise themed to match an accompanying gift card. And in yet other embodiments, the gift card holders are directed to specific holidays or special occasions with appropriate gift cards included. Each embodiment may include electronic features, such as audio and light. The packaging of gift card and gift card holder combinations is also disclosed.
1 . A gift card and gift card holder combination comprising:
a gift card holder;
a gift card contained inside the gift card holder;
a gift contained inside the gift card holder;
wherein the gift card holder and/or the gift are clues as to a type of merchandise for which the gift card may be redeemed.
2 . The gift card and gift card holder combination of claim 1 further comprising a sound module operative to store and playback at least one audio file.
3 . The gift card and gift card holder combination of claim 1 further comprising a light module operative to illuminate and deluminate one or more lights contained on or within the gift card holder.
4 . A gift card and gift card holder combination comprising:
a receptacle;
a gift card contained within the receptacle;
a novelty item contained within the receptacle;
wherein the novelty item is a clue or an example of a type of product for which the gift card may used to purchase.
5 . The gift card and gift card holder combination of claim 4 , wherein the receptacle is a box.
6 . The gift card and gift card holder combination of claim 4 , wherein the receptacle also contains a clue to a type of product for which the git card may be used to purchase.
7 . The gift card and gift card holder combination of claim 4 , wherein the gift card is a branded gift card.
