Abstract

A compound of Formula (I) in which one R p is —NH 2 and the two remaining R p are independently selected from the group consisting of —OR 4 and —NR 1 R 4 . A compound of Formula (X) in which one R p is —NH 2 and the two remaining R p are independently selected from the group consisting of —OR 4 and —NR 1 R 4 .

Claims (17)

1. A compound of Formula (I)

wherein each individual R o and R m group on each of rings A, B and C is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium and R 5 ;

wherein each R 5 is independently selected from the group consisting of halogens, alkyl, substituted alkyl, and —S(O) 2 O—;

wherein G is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium;

wherein one R p is —NH 2 and the two remaining R p are independently selected from the group consisting of —OR 4 ;

wherein each R 4 is an independently selected (C 2 H 4 O) x (C 3 H 6 O) y (C 2 H 4 O)zR 20 ; R 20 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, alkaryl, and substituted alkaryl; the variables x, y, and z are integers independently selected from 0 and the positive natural numbers; and the sum of x, y, and z is 1 or more; and

wherein any charge present in the compound is balanced with an independently selected internal or external counterion.

2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein all four of the R o and R m on at least one of the rings A, B, and C are hydrogen.

3. The compound of claim 2 , wherein all the R o and R m on all three rings A, B, and C are hydrogen.

4. The compound of claim 1 , wherein the variables x, y, and z are independently selected from 0 to 100.

5. The compound of claim 4 , wherein the variables x, y, and z are independently selected from 0 to 20.

6. The compound of claim 5 , wherein the variables x, y, and z are independently selected from 0 to 10.

7. The compound of claim 6 , wherein the variable x is from 1 to 5, the variable y is from 0 to 5, and the variable z is 0.

8. The compound of claim 7 , wherein the variable y is from 1 to 5.

9. The compound of claim 7 , wherein the variable x is from 1 to 2, and the variable y is from 0 to 3.

10. The compound of claim 9 , wherein the variable y is from 1 to 3.

11. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 20 is hydrogen.
