Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to visually varying an image using parallax image layers, and more specifically, relates to visually varying presentation of an access right displayed on a mobile device to enhance verification of access to resources. The variation of multiple layers of an image may be based on sensor data detected at the mobile device.

Claims (53)

1. A computer-implemented method for visually varying presentation of digital access rights on mobile devices using parallax images responsive to motion, comprising:

receiving, at a first time, from a mobile device, a first image comprising a first digital representation of a digital access right and a first parallax image, the first parallax image comprising a plurality of layers arranged in a first configuration according to a position protocol, wherein the first configuration is determined, based at least in part on, a first position associated with the mobile device;

receiving, at a second time, from the mobile device, a second image comprising the first digital representation of the digital access right and a second parallax image, the second parallax image comprising the plurality of layers arranged in a second configuration according to the position protocol, wherein the second configuration is determined, based at least in part on, a second position associated with the mobile device, the second position being a different physical position than the first position; and

validating the first digital representation of the digital access right based at least in part on the first configuration of the plurality of layers being different from the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining, based at least in part on the position protocol, one or more reposition parameters; and

modifying, based at least in part on the one or more reposition parameters, a least a part of the first configuration of the plurality of layers to generate the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving first sensor data associated with the second position;

determining, based on the first sensor data, one or more reposition parameters; and

modifying, based at least in part on the one or more reposition parameters, a least a part of the first configuration of the plurality of layers to generate the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of layers comprises three layers.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein each layer in the plurality of layers comprises an object.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of layers are part of a parallax image.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving first sensor data associated with a movement of the mobile device;

determining, based on the first sensor data, one or more reposition parameters; and

modifying, based at least in part on the one or more reposition parameters, a least a part of the first configuration of the plurality of layers to generate the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

8. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the first digital representation is a bar code.

9. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

validating the first digital representation of the digital access right based at least in part on the first digital representation having a same orientation at the first time and the second time.

10. A system for visually varying presentation of digital access rights on mobile devices using parallax images responsive to motion, comprising:

one or more data processors; and

a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform operations including:

receiving, at a first time, from a mobile device, a first image comprising a first digital representation of a digital access right and a first parallax image, the first parallax image comprising a plurality of layers arranged in a first configuration according to a position protocol, wherein the first configuration is determined, based at least in part on, a first position associated with the mobile device;

receiving, at a second time, from the mobile device, a second image comprising the first digital representation of the digital access right and a second parallax image, the second parallax image comprising the plurality of layers arranged in a second configuration according to the position protocol, wherein the second configuration is determined, based at least in part on, a second position associated with the mobile device, the second position being a different physical position than the first position; and

validating the first digital representation of the digital access right based at least in part on the first configuration of the plurality of layers being different from the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

11. The system of claim 10 , wherein the operations further comprise:

determining, based at least in part on the position protocol, one or more reposition parameters; and

modifying, based at least in part on the one or more reposition parameters, a least a part of the first configuration of the plurality of layers to generate the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

12. The system of claim 10 , wherein the operations further comprise:

receiving first sensor data associated with the second position;

determining, based on the first sensor data, one or more reposition parameters; and

modifying, based at least in part on the one or more reposition parameters, a least a part of the first configuration of the plurality of layers to generate the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

13. The system of claim 10 , wherein the plurality of layers comprises three layers.

14. The system of claim 10 , wherein each layer in the plurality of layers comprises an object.

15. The system of claim 10 , wherein the plurality of layers are part of a parallax image.

16. The system of claim 10 , wherein the operations further comprise:

receiving first sensor data associated with a movement of the mobile device;

determining, based on the first sensor data, one or more reposition parameters; and

modifying, based at least in part on the one or more reposition parameters, a least a part of the first configuration of the plurality of layers to generate the second configuration of the plurality of layers.

17. A computer-program product tangibly embodied in a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium, including instructions configured to cause a data processing apparatus to perform operations including:

receiving, at a first time, from a mobile device, a first image comprising a first digital representation of a digital access right and a first parallax image, the first parallax image comprising a plurality of layers arranged in a first configuration according to a position protocol, wherein the first configuration is determined, based at least in part on, a first position associated with the mobile device;
