Abstract

The present application provides a near field information transmission method and system, an information transmitting client, an information receiving client, and an information system. The information transmitting client transmits an acquisition request to the information system. The information transmitting client receives a random number that corresponds to the acquisition request and is returned by the information system. The random number corresponds to the information of said information transmitting client. The information transmitting client uses the random number as a service set identifier of a hotspot, and the service set identifier is broadcast through a beacon frame of a wireless communication protocol. The present techniques conduct near field information transmission conveniently and accurately.

Claims (32)

1. A data storage device containing computer executable instructions configured to be installed on a client device, which when executed by a processing unit of the client device, configures the processing unit to implement at least one of a payee client and a payer client;

wherein the payee client is operable to:

create an outgoing payment transaction requesting payment to a payee at a server;

identify with the server an account information to be transmitted for the outgoing payment transaction;

receive from the server a key corresponding to the account information; and

cause to activate a personal wireless hotspot of the client device using the key as a service set identifier of the personal wireless hotspot; and

wherein the payer client is operable to:

acquire a candidate service set identifier of a personal wireless hotspot of another device; and

submit the candidate service set identifier to the server with a request for an account information for an incoming payment transaction created at the server requesting payment by a payer.

2. The data storage device of claim 1 , wherein the payer client is operable to acquire a candidate service set identifier of a personal wireless hotspot of another device by:

detecting signal intensities of multiple personal wireless hotspots of other devices;

identifying a candidate personal wireless hotspot which has a highest signal intensity among the multiple wireless hotspots; and

acquiring a service set identifier of the candidate personal wireless hotspot as the candidate service set identifier.

3. The data storage device of claim 1 , wherein the payer client is operable to acquire a candidate service set identifier of a personal wireless hotspot of another device by causing a WiFi module of the client device to detect personal wireless hotspots and corresponding signal intensities.

4. The data storage device of claim 3 , wherein the WiFi module is configured to detect a wireless hotspot based on a signal intensity of the wireless hotspot.

5. The data storage device of claim 1 , wherein the payer client is operable to acquire the candidate service set identifier of a personal wireless hotspot of another device by:

detecting a personal wireless hotspot of a particular device closest to the client device among multiple personal wireless hotspots of other devices; and

identifying a service set identifier of the personal wireless hotspot of the particular device as the candidate service set identifier.

6. The data storage device of claim 1 , wherein the personal wireless hotspot of another device has a signal range;

wherein the payer client acquires the candidate service set identifier of the personal wireless hotspot of another device while the client device is within the signal range of the personal wireless hotspot; and

wherein the payer client submits the candidate service set identifier to the server with a request for an account information for an incoming payment transaction created at the server requesting payment by the payer while the client device is within the signal range of the personal wireless hotspot.

7. The data storage device of claim 1 , wherein the payer client is further operable to:

receive account information from the server; and

transmit a payment requested by the incoming payment transaction to an account identified by the account information.

8. The data storage device of claim 7 , wherein the payee client is further operable to display information regarding the transmission of the payment upon transmission of the payment.

9. The data storage device of claim 1 , wherein the payer client is further operable to:

receive the incoming payment transaction from the server reflected in an account of the payer;

display an interface of a payment platform; and

transmit a payment requested by the incoming payment transaction in response to an interaction with the interface of the payment platform.

10. The data storage device of claim 9 , wherein the payee client is further operable to:

receive the transmitted payment reflected in an account of the payee; and

display information regarding the transmission of the payment upon transmission of the payment.
