GWC PRODUCTION MONITORING INTERLEAVED WAGERING SYSTEM
An electronic gaming machine using a game world credit monitoring module, an interactive processing device, a process controller, and a wager controller to provide an interactive application that triggers wagers on the wager controller based on user interactions within the interactive application and allows the electronic gaming machine to make adjustments to the interactive application difficulty level to achieve a desired RTP based on game world credit generation within the interactive application.
1 . An electronic gaming machine constructed to receive currency, comprising:
an interactive processing device constructed to communicate with a process controller and a game world credit monitoring system, wherein the interactive processing device is further constructed to:
provide an interactive application to a user;
detect a trigger based on a user interaction in the interactive application;
communicate to the process controller the trigger; and
adjust a difficulty level of the interactive application; and
the game world credit monitoring module constructed to communicate with the interactive processing device, wherein the game world credit monitoring module is further constructed to:
calculate a relationship between game world credits earned and return to player;
determine the limits of acceptable game world credit generation;
check actual game world credit generation;
calculate the expected final game world credits based on the measured game world credit generation;
identify the actual game world credit generation as outside the limits of acceptable game world credit generation; and
distribute, to the interactive processing device , an instruction to adjust the difficulty level of the interactive application; and
a wager controller constructed to communicate with the process controller, wherein the wager controller is further constructed to:
generate a wager outcome using a random number generator and a paytable; and
communicate the wager outcome to the process controller; and
the process controller operatively connecting the interactive processing device and the wager controller, wherein the process controller is further constructed to:
receive the trigger;
request the wager outcome from the wager controller; and
update one or more credit meters using the skill outcome and the ordered set of chance components.
2 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 ,
wherein the interactive processing device and the process controller are constructed from the same device, and
wherein the process controller is operatively connected to the wager controller using a communication link.
3 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 ,
wherein the wager controller and the process controller are constructed from the same device, and
wherein the process controller is operatively connected to the interactive processing device using a communication link.
4 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , further comprising:
an enclosure constructed to mount:
a user input device operatively connected to the interactive processing device;
a user output device operatively connected to the interactive processing device;
a credit input device operatively connected to the wager controller; and
a credit output device operatively connected to the wager controller.
5 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 4 , wherein the wager controller is further constructed to:
communicate with the credit input device to receive a credit input;
credit a credit meter with credits based on the incoming credit data;
resolve a wager proposition based on a communication received from the process controller;
update the credit meter based on a chance outcome of the wager; and
communicate with the credit output device to generate a credit output based on credits transferred off of the credit meter.
6 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the acceptable game world credit generation is determined using the change in game world credit accumulated over time.
7 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the acceptable game world credit generation is determined using the change in game world credit accumulated per user interaction.
8 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the game world credit monitoring system instructs the interactive processing device to initiate game world credit production checks.
9 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the player is presented with options to adjust the difficulty level when the actual game world credit generation is outside the limits of acceptable game world credit generation.
10 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 9 , wherein the game world credit monitoring system increases the frequency of checks of actual game world credit generation.
11 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the game world credit monitoring system checks of actual game world credit generation are periodic and based on time elapsed.
12 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 11 , wherein the time elapsed is based on virtual time.
13 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 11 , wherein the time elapsed is based on real time.
14 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the game world credit monitoring system checks of actual game world credit generation are based on demonstrated skill level in the interactive application.
15 . The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the game world credit monitoring system checks of actual game world credit generation are based on a specific event in the interactive application.
