Organic molecules for use in optoelectronic devices
The invention relates to an organic molecule, in particular for use in organic optoelectronic devices. According to the invention, the organic molecule has one first chemical moiety with a structure of formula I, and one second chemical moiety with a structure of formula II, wherein the first chemical moiety is linked to the second chemical moiety via a single bond.
1. An organic molecule, comprising:
a first chemical moiety comprising a structure of Formula I,
and
one second chemical moiety comprising a structure of Formula II,
wherein the first chemical moiety is linked to the second chemical moiety via a single bond;
wherein
T is the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety, or is selected from the group consisting of R 1 and R T ;
V is the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety or is hydrogen;
W is the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety, or is selected from the group consisting of R 1 and R T ;
X is selected from the group consisting of R 1 and R T ;
Y is selected from the group consisting of R 1 and R T ;
# represents the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety;
Z is at each occurrence independently from another selected from the group consisting of a direct bond, CR 3 R 4 , C═CR 3 R 4 , C═O, C═NR 3 , NR 3 , O, SiR 3 R 4 , S, S(O) and S(O) 2 ;
R T is 1,3,5-triazinyl, substituted with two substituents R N :
wherein the dotted bond represents the binding site of R T to the single bond linking the first chemical moiety and R T ;
R N is at each occurrence independently from another selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium,
C 1 -C 5 -alkyl,
wherein one or more hydrogen atoms are optionally substituted by deuterium;
C 2 -C 8 -alkenyl,

exactly one substituent selected from the group consisting of T, V and W represents the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety;

T is hydrogen in case W is R T and V represents the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety and the second chemical moiety; and
W is hydrogen in case T is R T and V represents the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety and the second chemical moiety;
and wherein exactly one substituent selected from the group consisting of R I , R II , and R III is L(R S ) 3 .

The organic molecule according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 and R N are independently from each other at each occurrence selected from the group consisting of H, methyl, phenyl, mesityl, tolyl, 3-(tert-butyl)phenyl, 4-(tert-butyl)phenyl, 2,6-di(tert-butyl)phenyl and 3,5-di(tert-butyl)phenyl; wherein the tolyl is one of 2-tolyl, 3-tolyl, and 4-tolyl.
3. The organic molecule according to claim 1 , wherein the organic molecule comprises a first chemical moiety comprising a structure of Formula I-Y,
wherein R I , R II , R III , R IV , R V , and R 1 have the aforestated meanings,
T # is the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety or is R 1 ,
V # is the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety or is hydrogen,
W # is the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety to the second chemical moiety, or is selected from the group consisting of R 1 and R T ,
X # is selected from the group consisting of R 1 and R T ,
exactly one substituent selected from the group consisting of T # , V # and W # represents the binding site of a single bond linking the first chemical moiety and the second chemical moiety,
exactly one substituent selected from the group consisting of W # and X # is R T ,
exactly one substituent selected from the group consisting of R I , and R II and R III is L(R S ) 3 .
4. The organic molecule according to claim 1 , wherein the second chemical moiety comprises a structure of Formula IIa:

7. The organic molecule according to claim 6 , wherein R b is at each occurrence independently from another selected from the group consisting of
Me, i Pr, t Bu, CN, CF 3 , SiPh 3 , GePh 3 ,
Ph, which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently from each other selected from the group consisting of Me, i Pr, t Bu, CN, CF 3 and Ph;
pyridinyl, which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently from each other selected from the group consisting of Me, i Pr, t Bu, CN, CF 3 and Ph;
pyrimidinyl, which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently from each other selected from the group consisting of Me, i Pr, t Bu, CN, CF 3 and Ph;
carbazolyl, which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently from each other selected from the group consisting of Me, i Pr, t Bu, CN, CF 3 and Ph;
triazinyl, which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently from each other selected from the group consisting of Me, i Pr, t Bu, CN, CF 3 , and Ph; and
N(Ph) 2 .
8. A method for producing an organic molecule according to claim 1 , comprising employing a 2-(Hal a -substituted fluorophenyl)-4,6-R N -1,3,5-triazine as a reactant, wherein Hal a is selected from the group consisting of Cl, Br, and I.
9. A composition, comprising:
(a) at least one organic molecule according to claim 1 , in the form of an emitter and/or a host;
(b) one or more emitter and/or host materials, which are different from the organic molecule of claim 1 ; and
(c) optionally, one or more dyes and/or one or more solvents.
10. An optoelectronic device, comprising the organic molecule according to claim 1 .
11. The optoelectronic device according to claim 10 , comprising:
a substrate;
an anode;
a cathode, wherein the anode or the cathode is disposed on the substrate; and
at least a light-emitting layer disposed between the anode and the cathode and which comprises the organic molecule.

The optoelectronic device according to claim 11 in a form of a device selected from the group consisting of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), a light-emitting electrochemical cell, OLED-sensor, an organic diode, an organic solar cell, an organic transistor, an organic field-effect transistor, an organic laser, and a down-conversion element.
13. The optoelectronic device according to claim 10 , wherein the organic molecule is one or more of a luminescent emitter, a host material, an electron transport material, a hole injection material and a hole blocking material.
14. A method for producing an optoelectronic device, comprising depositing the organic molecule according to claim 1 by a vacuum evaporation method or from a solution.
15. An optoelectronic device, comprising the composition according to claim 9 .
16. The optoelectronic device according to claim 15 , comprising:
a substrate;
an anode;
a cathode, wherein the anode or the cathode is disposed on the substrate; and
at least a light-emitting layer between the anode and the cathode and which comprises the composition.

The optoelectronic device according to claim 16 , in a form of a device selected from the group consisting of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), a light-emitting electrochemical cell, OLED-sensor, an organic diode, an organic solar cell, an organic transistor, an organic field-effect transistor, an organic laser, and a down-conversion element.
18. The optoelectronic device according to claim 13 , wherein a proportion of the organic molecule in an emission layer in the optoelectronic device is 1% to 99%.
19. The optoelectronic device according to claim 13 , wherein a proportion of the organic molecule in an emission layer in the optoelectronic device is 5% to 80%.
20. An optoelectronic device, comprising an organic molecule according to claim 3 .
