a housing, the housing having an outer bounding member and an inner bounding member, the outer and inner bounding members configured for being coupled together in a manner so as to form an interior portion, the interior portion retaining a plurality of components of the intelligent ring;

a curved rechargeable battery positioned within the interior portion of the housing;

one or more sensors, the one or more sensors comprising at least one of an accelerometer, a gyroscope, or a motion sensor, the one or more sensors being configured to sense a change in a condition of the wearer of the intelligent ring so as to produce sensed data;

a memory, the memory storing one or more instructions, the instructions pertaining to remotely unlocking the client computing device;

a flexible printed circuit board positioned proximate the outer bounding member, the flexible printed circuit board comprising:

a processor, the processor configured for receiving the sensed data and implementing the one or more instructions in response thereto; and

a communication module, the communication module comprising a near field communication device configured for communicating authorization data to the client computing device to unlock the client computing device.

2. The intelligent ring according to claim 1 , wherein the near field communication device comprises a microchip.

3. The intelligent ring according to claim 2 , wherein the inner bounding member comprises potting.

4. The intelligent ring according to claim 3 , wherein the potting is transparent.

5. The intelligent ring according to claim 2 , wherein inner bounding member is configured to be coupled to the exterior bounding member to form the housing.

6. The intelligent ring according to claim 5 , wherein the client computing device comprises a mobile smart phone, and the communications module is configured for wirelessly coupling the intelligent ring with the mobile smart phone through an application running on the mobile smart phone.

7. The intelligent ring according to claim 6 , wherein the communications module further comprises one or more of a Bluetooth transmitter, a WiFi transmitter, and a RF transmitter.

8. The intelligent ring according to claim 7 , wherein the intelligent ring comprises a light element disposed proximate an opening in the outer bounding member of the housing.

9. The intelligent ring according to claim 8 , wherein the intelligent ring comprises a charging coil coupled to the curved rechargeable battery so as to charge the curved rechargeable battery inductively.

10. The intelligent ring according to claim 1 , wherein the processor comprises a plurality of processors.

11. A system for unlocking a client computing device, the system comprising:

a client computing device; and

an intelligent ring computing device configured for fitting around a finger of a wearer, the intelligent ring computing device comprising:

a housing, the housing having an outer bounding member and an inner bounding member, the outer and inner bounding members being adapted for being coupled together to form the housing, the housing having an interior portion between the outer and inner bounding members, the housing including a light element;

a curved rechargeable battery positioned within the interior portion and proximate to one or more of the outer and inner bounding members;

one or more sensors, the one or more sensors comprising at least one of an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and a motion sensor, the one or more sensors being configured to sense a change in a condition of the wearer of the intelligent ring so as to produce sensed data;

a memory, the memory storing one or more instructions, the instructions pertaining to remotely unlocking the client computing device;

a flexible printed circuit board positioned proximate the outer bounding member, the flexible printed circuit board comprising:

a processor, the processor configured for receiving the sensed data and implementing the one or more instructions in response thereto;

a communication module, the communication module comprising a near field communication device configured for communicating with the client computing device in a manner sufficient to unlock the client computing device; and

a GPS transceiver, for determining the location of the intelligent ring.

12. The intelligent ring according to claim 11 , wherein the near field communication device comprises a microchip.

13. The intelligent ring according to claim 12 , wherein the communication module further comprises one or more of a Bluetooth transmitter, a WiFi transmitter, and a RF transmitter.

14. The intelligent ring according to claim 13 , wherein the intelligent ring comprises a charging coil coupled to the curved rechargeable battery so as to charge the curved rechargeable battery inductively.

15. A method of using an intelligent ring computing device for unlocking a locked near field communication capable computing device, the locked near field communication capable computing device having a near field communications chip, the method comprising:

donning the intelligent ring computing device around a finger of a user, the intelligent ring computing device comprising:

a housing, the housing having an outer bounding member and an inner bounding member, the outer and inner bounding members configured for being coupled together in a manner so as to form an interior portion, the interior portion retaining a plurality of components of the intelligent ring;

a curved rechargeable battery positioned within the interior portion of the housing;

one or more sensors, the one or more sensors comprising at least one of an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and a motion sensor, the one or more sensors being configured to sense a change in a condition of the wearer of the intelligent ring so as to produce sensed data;

a memory, the memory storing one or more instructions, the instructions pertaining to remotely unlocking the client computing device;

a flexible printed circuit board positioned proximate the outer bounding member, the flexible printed circuit board comprising:

a processor, the processor configured for receiving the sensed data and implementing the one or more instructions in response thereto; and

a communication module, the communication module comprising a near field communication device configured for communicating with the near field communication capable computing device in a manner sufficient to unlock the device;

performing a gesture by the user with the finger having donned the intelligent ring, the gesture being performed in such a manner so as to initiate the transmission of a communication from the near field communication device of the intelligent ring to the near field communication chip of the near field communication capable computing device, the communication effectuating the unlocking of the near field communication capable computing device upon receipt thereby.

16. The method according to claim 15 , wherein the gesture comprises one or more of a handshake, a snap, a tap, a knock, an arm motion, a point, and a hand wave.

17. The method according to claim 16 , wherein the near field communication capable computing device is selected from a group consisting of: a computer, a laptop, a tablet, and a smart phone.

18. The method according to claim 17 , wherein the communication comprises a personal identification number (PIN), the PIN identifying and authorizing the user.
