Abstract

A wireless device receives a downlink control information (DCI). The DCI comprises: number of subframes field indicating a first number of subframes; a modulation and coding scheme field; a transmit power control field; and a listen before talk (LBT) field indicating timing information for performing an LBT procedure. The wireless device performs the LBT procedure for transmission in the first number of subframes based on the timing information. The wireless device determines a transmission power of each subframe in the first number of subframes based on a same closed loop adjustment factor and the transmit power control field. The wireless device transmits, in each subframe of the first number of subframes, employing the modulation and coding scheme field.

Claims (42)

1. A method comprising:

receiving a downlink control information comprising:

a number of subframes field indicating a first number of subframes;

a modulation and coding scheme field;

a transmit power control field; and

a listen before talk (LBT) field indicating timing information for performing an LBT procedure;

performing the LBT procedure for transmission in the first number of subframes based on the timing information;

determining a transmission power of each subframe in the first number of subframes based on a same closed loop adjustment factor and the transmit power control field, wherein the transmission power of each subframe of the first number of subframes is adjusted in response to a total transmit power for each subframe of the first number of subframes exceeding a power value; and

transmitting, in each subframe of the first number of subframes, employing the modulation and coding scheme field.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmission power of each subframe in the first number of subframes is further determined based on a pathloss value.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving the downlink control information further comprises:

receiving a first downlink control information via a wireless device specific search space of a first control channel; and

receiving a second downlink control information via a common search space of a second control channel of a licensed assisted access cell, wherein the first number of subframes are subframes of the licensed assisted access cell.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the downlink control information further comprises a cyclic shift field applicable to the first number of subframes, the cyclic shift employed for transmitting a demodulation reference signal.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the downlink control information further comprises a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) identifier.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the determining the transmission power of each subframe in the first number of subframes is further performed based on a measured pathloss value.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein a calculation of the closed loop adjustment factor employs a transmit power control command in the transmit power control field.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the LBT procedure indicates that a channel is clear when a detected channel energy is below a threshold.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein each subframe in the first number of subframes is associated with a different hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the downlink control information further comprises a redundancy version field for each of the first number of subframes.

11. A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive a downlink control information comprising:

a number of subframes field indicating a first number of subframes;

a modulation and coding scheme field;

a transmit power control field; and

a listen before talk (LBT) field indicating timing information for performing an LBT procedure;

perform the LBT procedure for transmission in the first number of subframes based on the timing information;

determine a transmission power of each subframe in the first number of subframes based on a same closed loop adjustment factor and the transmit power control field, wherein the transmission power of each subframe of the first number of subframes is adjusted in response to a total transmit power for each subframe of the first number of subframes exceeding a power value; and

transmit, in each subframe of the first number of subframes, employing the modulation and coding scheme field.

12. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the transmission power of each subframe in the first number of subframes is determined based on a pathloss value.

13. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the downlink control information comprises:

a first DCI received via a wireless device specific search space of a first control channel; and

a second DCI received via a common search space of a second control channel of a licensed assisted access cell, wherein the first number of subframes are subframes of the licensed assisted access cell.

14. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the downlink control information further comprises a cyclic shift field applicable to the first number of subframes, the cyclic shift employed for transmitting a demodulation reference signal.

15. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the downlink control information further comprises a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) identifier.

16. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the transmission power of each subframe in the first number of subframes is further determined based on a measured pathloss value.

17. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein a calculation of the closed loop adjustment factor employs a transmit power control command in the transmit power control field.

18. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the LBT procedure indicates that a channel is clear when a detected channel energy is below a threshold.

19. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein each subframe in the first number of subframes is associated with a different hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier.

20. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the downlink control information further comprises a redundancy version field for each of the first number of subframes.
