Abstract

Computer-implemented systems and methods for digital content protection and security in multi-computer networks are provided. In one embodiment, a system for cryptographic digital content protection and security is disclosed. The system may include at least one processor, and a storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, configure the at least one processor to determine specifications of a computer terminal, determine a status of the computer terminal as a public terminal or a private terminal, identify sensitive information in a data transmission, generate output instructions associated with the sensitive information, and provide the data transmission and the output instructions to the computer terminal over a network.

Claims (47)

1. A system for updating patient display information, the system comprising:

one or more memory units storing instructions; and

one or more processors in communication with at least one display, the one or more processors executing the instructions to perform operations comprising:

receiving hospital event information associated with an event involving a patient, the hospital event information having a timestamp;

determining a time associated with the hospital event information and indicated by the timestamp;

determining a current time;

calculating the difference between the current time and the associated time;

identifying sensitive information in the hospital event information; and

replacing the sensitive information with at least one of a discrete symbol, code, or generic term to prevent display of the sensitive information on a public terminal, wherein the replacing comprises querying a database comprising discrete symbols, code, or generic terms and selecting the at least one of a discrete symbol, code, or generic term from the database;

changing a displayed patient status of the patient based on the calculated difference, to provide real-time information about the event and the patient, wherein changing the displayed patient status comprises displaying the replaced sensitive information.

2. The system of claim 1 , the operations further comprising animating the real-time information to reflect a change in the displayed patient status.

3. The system of claim 1 , the operations further comprising comparing the difference to a predetermined threshold amount of time to determine a proximity between the difference and the predetermined threshold amount of time, wherein the hospital event information indicates the time of the patient's admittance to a hospital.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the predetermined threshold amount of time is based on one or more rules associated with a condition of the patient or an attribute of the patient, a capacity status of the hospital, or a policy of the hospital.

5. The system of claim 3 , wherein changing the displayed patient status is further based on the comparison; and the operations further comprising:

changing a color of the displayed patient status, the color indicating the proximity between the difference and the predetermined threshold amount of time.

6. The system of claim 3 , wherein the hospital event information is first hospital event information, and the operations further comprising:

receiving second hospital event information associated with the patient; and

changing the predetermined threshold amount of time based on the second hospital event information.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the hospital event information indicates the time of the most recent visit of a caregiver to the patient, the most recent visit being indicated by data received from a sensor.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein the sensor is associated with a specific caregiver or is associated with a hospital room of the patient.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the hospital event information indicates the time of the most recent visit of a caregiver to the patient, the most recent visit being indicated by data received from a sensor.

10. A method for updating patient display information, the method being performed by one or more processors in communication with at least one display, the method comprising:

receiving hospital event information associated with an event involving a patient, the hospital event information having a timestamp;

determining a time associated with the hospital event information and indicated by the timestamp;

determining a current time;

calculating the difference between the current time and the associated time;

identifying sensitive information in the hospital event information; and

replacing the sensitive information with at least one of a discrete symbol, code, or generic term to prevent display of the sensitive information on a public terminal, wherein the replacing comprises querying a database comprising discrete symbols, code, or generic terms and selecting the at least one of a discrete symbol, code, or generic term from the database;

changing a displayed patient status of the patient based on the calculated difference, to provide real-time information about the event and the patient, wherein changing the displayed patient status comprises displaying the replaced sensitive information.

11. The method of claim 10 , the method further comprising comparing the difference to a predetermined threshold amount of time to determine a proximity between the difference and the predetermined threshold amount of time, wherein the hospital event information indicates the time of the patient's admittance to a hospital.

12. The method of claim 10 , wherein the hospital event information is first hospital event information, and the method further comprising:

receiving second hospital event information associated with the patient; and

changing the predetermined threshold amount of time based on the second hospital event information.

13. The method of claim 10 , wherein the hospital event information indicates the time of the most recent visit of a caregiver to the patient, the most recent visit being indicated by data received from a sensor.

14. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions which, when executed, cause at least one processor to perform operations for updating patient display information on one or more displays in communication with the at least one processor, the operations comprising:

receiving hospital event information associated with an event involving a patient, the hospital event information having a timestamp;

determining a time associated with the hospital event information and indicated by the timestamp;

determining a current time;

calculating the difference between the current time and the associated time;

identifying sensitive information in the hospital event information; and

replacing the sensitive information with at least one of a discrete symbol, code, or generic term to prevent display of the sensitive information on a public terminal, wherein the replacing comprises querying a database comprising discrete symbols, code, or generic terms and selecting the at least one of a discrete symbol, code, or generic term from the database;

changing a displayed patient status of the patient based on the calculated difference, to provide real-time information about the event and the patient, wherein changing the displayed patient status comprises displaying the replaced sensitive information.

15. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , the operations further comprising comparing the difference to a predetermined threshold amount of time to determine a proximity between the difference and the predetermined threshold amount of time, wherein the hospital event information indicates the time of the patient's admittance to a hospital.

16. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the hospital event information is first hospital event information, and the operations further comprising:

receiving second hospital event information associated with the patient; and

changing the predetermined threshold amount of time based on the second hospital event information.

17. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the hospital event information indicates the time of the most recent visit of a caregiver to the patient, the most recent visit being indicated by data received from a sensor.
