Abstract

A wireless device receives configuration parameters of cells grouped into physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups. The PUCCH groups comprise a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell with a secondary PUCCH. An adjustment factor is determined based on a first transmit power control (TPC) command for the secondary PUCCH. A value of the adjustment factor is stored in response to a deactivation of the PUCCH secondary cell. A second TPC command for the secondary PUCCH is received. The second TPC command is ignored based on the PUCCH secondary cell being in a deactivated state. After an activation of the PUCCH secondary cell, an uplink control information (UCI) is transmitted via the secondary PUCCH employing the stored value of the adjustment factor.

Claims (28)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device, configuration parameters of cells grouped into physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprising a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell with a secondary PUCCH;

determining an adjustment factor based on a first transmit power control (TPC) command for the secondary PUCCH;

storing a value of the adjustment factor in response to a deactivation of the PUCCH secondary cell;

receiving a second TPC command for the secondary PUCCH;

ignoring the second TPC command based on the PUCCH secondary cell being in a deactivated state; and

transmitting, after an activation of the PUCCH secondary cell, an uplink control information (UCI) via the secondary PUCCH employing the stored value of the adjustment factor.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the PUCCH groups further comprise a primary PUCCH group comprising a primary cell with a primary PUCCH.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the second TPC command is received via a common search space of the primary cell.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving a first medium access control (MAC) command indicating deactivation of the PUCCH secondary cell.

5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the configuration parameters comprise a pathloss reference parameter indicating a pathloss reference cell of the PUCCH secondary cell.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein downlink control information received via a common search space comprises:

the first TPC command for the secondary PUCCH; and

a first TPC command for a primary PUCCH.

7. The method of claim 6 , further comprising transmitting a second UCI on the secondary PUCCH employing the adjustment factor with the value of the adjustment factor set to zero.

8. The method of claim 6 , further comprising transmitting a second UCI on the secondary PUCCH employing the adjustment factor with the value of the adjustment factor determined based on a transmit power control value received in a random access response.

9. The method of claim 6 , further comprising ignoring TPC commands, for the secondary PUCCH, received via the common search space during the PUCCH secondary cell being in the deactivated state.

10. The method of claim 6 , further comprising ignoring TPC commands, for the secondary PUCCH, received via the common search space during the PUCCH secondary cell being uplink out-of-sync.

11. The method of claim 6 , further comprising transmitting a second UCI via the secondary PUCCH employing the adjustment factor before the PUCCH secondary cell being in the deactivated state.

12. The method of claim 6 , further comprising receiving a second MAC command indicating activation of the PUCCH secondary cell after the UCI being stored.

13. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting a second UCI on the secondary PUCCH employing the adjustment factor with the value of the adjustment factor determined based on a transmit power control value received in a random access response.

14. The method of claim 1 , further comprising ignoring TPC commands, for the secondary PUCCH, received via a common search space of a primary cell during the PUCCH secondary cell being in the deactivated state.

15. The method of claim 1 , further comprising ignoring TPC commands, for the secondary PUCCH, received via a common search space of a primary cell during the PUCCH secondary cell being uplink out-of-sync.

16. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting a second UCI via the secondary PUCCH employing the adjustment factor before the PUCCH secondary cell being deactivated.

17. The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving a second MAC command indicating activation of the PUCCH secondary cell after the UCI being stored.

18. The method of claim 17 , wherein the configuration parameters comprise a pathloss reference parameter indicating a pathloss reference cell of the PUCCH secondary cell.

19. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting a second UCI on the secondary PUCCH employing the adjustment factor with the value of the adjustment factor set to zero.

20. The method of claim 19 , wherein the second UCI is transmitted before the UCI.
