Abstract

The CLOUD-AUTHENTICATED SITE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DEVICES, APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“CASRM”) transforms resource-use, weather, and user settings inputs into resource management schedule and control outputs. The CASRM achieves data transformation via using a building automation management device, comprising at least a processor a memory storing processor-executable instructions to receive, at a virtual cloud network controller, a data packet from a source building resource control device and to access a virtual routing table corresponding to a local virtual network associated with a control entity. The building automation management device may also determine a destination building resource control device based on the virtual routing table and at least one destination address in the data packet, and may send the data packet to the destination building resource control device.

Claims (15)

1. A building automation management device associated with a virtual cloud network, comprising:

a processor; and

a memory disposed in communication with the processor and storing processor-executable instructions to:

receive a data packet from a source building resource control device, the data packet including user credentials and destination building resource control device lighting settings or energy settings for devices connected to the destination building resource control device;

authenticate the user credentials in the data packet from the source building resource control device;

access a virtual routing table corresponding to a local virtual network associated with a user account authorized to operate the source building resource control device, the local virtual network including virtual network nodes, each of the virtual network nodes corresponding to a building resource control device operated by the user account, representations of the virtual network nodes being instantiated in the virtual cloud network;

determine a destination building resource control device based on the virtual routing table and at least one destination address in the data packet;

send the data packet with the lighting settings or energy settings to the determined destination building resource control device to provide the lighting settings or energy settings to the devices connected to the destination building resource control device; and

receive a status confirmation from the determined destination building resource control device indicating that the settings have successfully been provided to the devices connected to the destination building resource control device.

2. The building automation management device of claim 1 , wherein the destination building resource control device is a secondary building resource device.

3. The building automation management device of claim 2 , wherein the secondary building resource device is one or more of an energy management device, an energy monitoring device, and/or a lighting device and wherein the settings altered are one of lighting settings and energy settings for devices connected to the secondary building resource device.

4. The building automation management device of claim 2 , wherein the settings altered are one or more of lighting settings and energy settings for one or more devices connected to the secondary building resource device.

5. The building automation management device of claim 2 , wherein the secondary building resource device and/or a device connected thereto is a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) device, and wherein the settings altered are one of heating, ventilation, or air conditioning settings.

6. The building automation management device of claim 1 , wherein the source building resource control device uses a first communication protocol, and

wherein the destination building resource control device uses a second communication protocol different from the first communication protocol.
