Abstract

To provide a base station apparatus, a terminal apparatus, and a communication method for achieving a high frequency efficiency while coexisting with other radio access system under environment where multiple frame formats are multiplexed for use. A base station apparatus according to the present invention comprises a receiver that performs carrier sense on the second frequency band based on a predetermined frame configuration among a plurality of frame configurations to obtain the second frequency band during a predetermined duration, and a transmitter that notifies control information concerning the predetermined frame configuration and transmits a downlink signal to the terminal apparatus during the predetermined duration based on the predetermined frame configuration.

Claims (15)

1. A base station apparatus for communicating with a terminal apparatus in a communication system that applies a communication method applied to a first frequency band used in a dedicated manner to a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, the base station apparatus comprising:

a receiver configured to perform carrier sense on the second frequency band based on a prescribed frame structure among multiple frame structures to obtain the second frequency band during a prescribed duration;

a transmitter configured to notify control information regarding the prescribed frame structure and transmit a downlink signal to the terminal apparatus during the prescribed duration based on the prescribed frame structure, and

in a case that the transmitter transmits a downlink signal to the terminal apparatus during the prescribed duration, based on a frame structure different from the prescribed frame structure, the receiver performs carrier sense with random backoff on the second frequency band, based on the different frame structure.

2. The base station apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a length of the prescribed duration is associated with the prescribed frame structure.

3. The base station apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein priority information of the carrier sense is configured for each of the multiple frame structures.

4. The base station apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein

in a case that the transmitter transmits multiple component carriers in the second frequency band, the transmitter configures the same frame structure for the multiple component carriers.

A terminal apparatus for communicating with a base station apparatus in a communication system that applies a communication method applied to a first frequency band used in a dedicated manner to a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, the base station apparatus comprising:

a receiver configured to receive control information including information indicating at least one frame structure of multiple frame structures from the base station apparatus; and

a transmitter configured to perform carrier sense for a prescribed time period in a case of transmitting an uplink signal in a frame structure the same as the frame structure of the received control information, and performs carrier sense with random backoff in a case of transmitting an uplink signal in a frame structure different from the frame structure of the received control information.

A communication method for a base station apparatus for communicating with a terminal apparatus in a communication system that applies a communication method applied to a first frequency band used in a dedicated manner to a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, the communication method comprising:

a step of performing carrier sense on the second frequency band based on a prescribed frame structure among multiple frame structures to obtain the second frequency band during a prescribed duration;

a step of notifying control information regarding the prescribed frame structure and transmitting a downlink signal to the terminal apparatus during the prescribed duration based on the prescribed frame structure, and

a step of performing carrier sense with random backoff on the second frequency band, based on the different frame structure in a case that the step of notifying transmits a downlink signal to the terminal apparatus during the prescribed duration, based on a frame structure different from the prescribed frame structure.
