wherein the protrusion and hole arrangement is configured such that the attachment member has an engaged state where the attachment member is fixed to the hollow body at a first location and a disengaged state where the attachment member is movable with respect to the hollow body to a second location axially offset from the first location; and

wherein the protruding surface at the distal end of the attachment member is located rearward of the distal end of the nozzle portion and protrudes outwardly from the nozzle portion when the attachment member is in the engaged state.

2. The intraocular lens according to claim 1 , wherein the attachment member is movable while being attached to the hollow body.

3. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 1 , wherein the protrusion and hole arrangement comprises an engaging portion which is engaged with the hollow body and is formed in the attachment member, and an engaged portion which is formed in the hollow body corresponding to the engaging portion.

4. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 3 , wherein the engaging portion has a lock mechanism in which the attachment member is temporarily fixed to the hollow body by an engagement between the engaging portion and the engaged portion.

5. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 3 , wherein the engaging portion includes a tongue piece having a plurality of engagement holes formed thereon, and the engaged portion includes a locking claw engaged with one of the plurality of engagement holes.

6. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 1 , wherein the protruding surface restricts an injection amount when the nozzle portion is is within the incisional wound.

7. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 6 , wherein the attachment member protruding surface is soft.

8. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 6 , wherein the attachment member protruding surface is formed from a soft resin.

9. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 1 , wherein a viewing window is provided on the attachment member.

10. The intraocular lens according to claim 9 , wherein the protruding surface is formed in a shape with an upper part cut out, and the viewing window is formed so as to communicate with a cutout portion of the protruding surface.

11. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 1 , wherein the protruding surface is made of a soft resin.

12. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 1 , wherein the nozzle portion has a cutout portion formed along an axial direction of the hollow body and inclined in the same direction as the protruding surface of the attachment member, and a tapered portion is formed on the attachment member, to reduce an outer circumferential diameter of the nozzle portion, by being brought into contact with an outer circumferential surface of the nozzle portion, which is a portion where the cutout portion is formed.

13. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 1 , wherein the hollow body has a lens installing portion, and an intraocular lens is installed on the lens installing portion.

14. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 1 , wherein

the engaged state where the attachment member is fixed to the hollow body at the first location defines a first engaged state; and

the protrusion and hole arrangement is configured such that the attachment member is in a second engaged state at the second location.

15. An intraocular lens injector for injecting an intraocular lens into an eye, comprising:

a hollow body having a main body and an injection tube, secured to the main body, with a nozzle portion configured to be inserted into an incisional wound in the eye and defining an outer circumferential surface and a distal end;

an attachment member defining a distal end and having a soft protruding surface at the distal end configured to engage the outer surface of the eye when the nozzle portion is within the incisional wound;

a protrusion and hole arrangement associated with attachment member and the injection tube that is configured such that the attachment member has an engaged state where the attachment member is fixed to the injection tube at a first location and a disengaged state where the attachment member is movable with respect to the injection tube to a second location axially offset from the first location.

16. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 15 , wherein

wherein the attachment member includes a sleeve portion defining an axis and the protruding surface is oriented at an oblique angle with respect to the axis.

17. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 15 , wherein the attachment member protruding surface is formed from a soft resin.

18. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 15 , wherein the attachment member cannot be detached from the hollow body.

19. The intraocular lens injector according to claim 15 , wherein

the engaged state where the attachment member is fixed to the injection tube at the first location defines a first engaged state; and

the protrusion and hole arrangement is configured such that the attachment member is in a second engaged state at the second location.
